NBC's ''Timeless''

You think ? AFAIC, it was just that she didn't want to drink alone this time.

A lot of people are upset that they finally started to go with #Lyatt only to have Wyatt go back to Jessica. I personally think #Lyatt will be endgame, but way to throw a wrench in everyone’s ship.

I think this was a mistake, this is a short season and throwing in a love quadrangle is needless forced drama, it feels like they are doing it so they can take Wyatt's wife out the picture in a way that sees him choose Lucy over her, and I do think the theory of her being a Rittenhouse agent is fairly likely.

Well what else can she be? Why would Rittenhouse bring her back to life otherwise? But what if she doesn't even know she's one, but is activated at the right time, eg by a series of words. Maybe she calls home and someone is on the other end and tells her to carry out the mission.

So we are taking it on faith that Rittenhouse controls the Butterfly effect? While Queen Momma hasn't been able to kill one daughter she was just fine with disappearing from history her baby daughter

They may have brought her back to life so that she could drive a wedge between Wyatt and Lucy. She doesn't need to be an agent to do that. Her simply being alive is enough to create tension and serious problems for the team. And driving a wedge between the members of the team would certainly weaken the team and make them less effective and could even make it easier for Rittenhouse to kill them.

Connor Mason and Agent Christopher found something on that hard drive that showed Jessica straight away. She must be connected or in their plans at least.

And now some people's contributions to history have been completely erased in the new timeline.

Why would Nicholas Keynes think that Emma would agree to having women's rights taken away from her and all women? Why would any woman agree to that? Why would even that female sleeper agent who was posing as a suffragette agree to that? How on earth does that benefit any woman if they are simply regarded as property and have no rights of their own?

And has Keynes actually thought this through? Wouldn't Emma and Lucy's mother probably disappear from Rittenhouse and no longer be his allies in the present? They wouldn't have been able to ascend to the positions within Rittenhouse that they are now. Certainly Emma wouldn't have been able to escape her abusive family life and go and study and become top of her class. She wouldn't have been discovered by Rittenhouse either.

I could understand if Rittenhouse was an entirely male society and they wanted to make America great again, but it has females in it.

And at the end, with their reference to Trump, how come no-one thinks he's Rittenhouse?

Valid points. But I was struck by a more prosaic issue: Women’s suffrage was gaining significant momentum in the early 20th century - with many Western nations passing laws (some even before the US) around this period. Change was happening. So it seemed implausible for Rittenhouse to believe that the entire fate of women’s rights and autonomy could be pinpointed to a single event or a single champion (like Alice Paul).

The episodes this season have been a lot of fun, exploring some really interesting points iun history.

I think she knows, the way she polanted one on Wyatt in front of Lucy to mark her turf and continue to needlke at their situation, she's trying to fracture the team and Flynn being a 4th wheel now is aiding that, but the conversation between Wyatt and Lucy at the end of this weeks ep suggests she failed.

Timeless was hilarious this week. Lucy and Jiya pretending to be a lesbian couple in the spur of the moment to cover up what they were really trying to do with Agent Christopher.

And Jiya's comments were funny as well regarding Cagney and Lacey and how they usually go undercover as prostitutes. :hehe: Cagney and Lacey did do that sometimes. I did wonder at first whether that show had already debuted back in 1981.

I remember when Reagan was shot. His message to his wife was "Sorry honey, I forgot to duck!" I thought the episode was going to be about that but it was just the backdrop to the main story.

It looks like Rittenhouse have paid for Jessica's brother's leukemia treatment. And she seems to be deflecting with telling him she's pregnant suddenly. This doesn't look like it's going to end well.

Can't believe there's only 2 more episodes left of this season. But effectively only one more week since they're airing both as a double bill next Sunday. This season went far too quickly. I would've preferred they went back to 16 or even 13 if they had to rather than 10.

I really hope this is renewed for Season 3. We don't want it cancelled again, because it's unlikely to be renewed this time.

Definitely hope we get a third season. This one has flown by.

Another good ep this week, giving us some backstory on Agent Christopher, although I have to admit I didn't realzie she was Indian, the older version alos doesn't look as brown as the version from 1981.

It was also fun seeing Lucy and Jiya team-up, and I'm glad Rufus got his head on straight by the end.

I am curious to see this stuff Flynn claims happened, with Lucy giving him the diary.

I feel we will get a 3rd season, but it probably won't air until next summer.

2 hour finale tonight, folks.

Got my fingers crossed for a renewal. Crossed so hard they're breaking.

Yeah but thanks to golf going OT it won't start until 15 some minutes after 9 pm

I swear that's the same cabin from Jack O'Neill Stargate!

Well Renew Timeless is trending like mad.

Goddamnit. Had to work, so didn't realize it started late so my DVR recording ended right at the big dramatic moment. Guess I have to watch the last 15 minutes on NBC.com

NBC knows they're gonna catch heat if they don't renew. Their only option to save face if they dont is to throw it on sister SyFy network.

Definitely. Especially after last years cancelled, nah you're back fiasco. I definitely don't mind the shorter season format either.
