NBC's ''Timeless''

My favorite character is the white guy aka Meat Slab.

It's still gonna be on at 10, for those of you messing your pants about it being "family friendly".

That doesn't mean it's not family friendly. Only that they didn't move it for one reason of another. Maybe they didn't have anything better to put at 10 or they thought Timeless wasn't worth putting in another timeslot.

If they thought they had some sort of "in" to take it to a broader audience, I'm almost certain they could've found an 8 or 9 timeslot somewhere. Staying at 10 says to me that it'll be more or less the same show.

Season one was already family friendly. Why they didn't stick season one in another time slot is still a mystery. Now with season two supposedly being more family friendly and yet remaining in the 10pm time slot I'm not sure NBC wants it in another timeslot.

really hoping for good things this season. would really like this show to turn things around and surprise people like it surprised me in how much i enjoyed it

That's not a trailer. That's a giveaway of half the episode! I stopped watching after 30 seconds, realising there was still another 4 minutes left.

Anyway, glad to see this is coming back soon. It's about time!

Starts at 10 pm Eastern time but I noticed Walking Dead starts at 9 and it ends 8 minutes after 10 PM. Dammit

I was surprised to realize that tonight is the night. Feels a bit worrisome where ratings are concerned.

And we are back, basic *****es.

...missed u show..i did

good to see the team back together again..

glad this show is back. this is one of my guilty pleasure shows because i really like history.

i'm looking forward to see how wyatt's sleeper cell theory pans out. looks like he's right.
glad they're not forgetting about Gia's storyline, so i hope that pulls along at a good pace this season along with everything else.

since Nicholas is pulled to the future, if what Lucy's mom said is true, that she is his granddaughter, then that makes Lucy is G-Granddaughter. so that would have to mean that he's had a child by the time they save him right? otherwise wouldn't there be some sort of paradox?

the hindenburg erased lucy's sister and she found out who she thought was her dad, really wasn't, if my memory serves. but i want to know what emma did to erase her from existing.

emma is vicious yall lol

Shawn Ryan said they pitched this season last April before the cancellation/renewal and I have to say this structure works much better for the show. Looking forward to seeing where they go next but... the ratings weren't great so enjoy this season as fate may catch up with the show in May.

TV By the Numbers said:
Season 2 premiere of “Timeless” on NBC didn’t fare as well. It posted a 0.8, down a tenth of a point from its finale last season and 0.3 off its season average.

18-49 ratings/are0.8/3 2.96 million viewers

NBC did it no favours with a weak lead in and it did beat Madam Secretary in the demo but yikes.

I guess people are tired after Walking Dead and whatever reality show is on in late Sunday hours.

Nice to have this back, so were all the people that flashed up from different eras when Wyatt was explaining his sleeper cell theory, characters we are going to see this season?

I like the concept of Rittenhouse planting sleeper agents throughout history, it's a neat concept and gives the team a focus each week, to unearth the agent and stop them in various eras.

Wyatt "She's our Historian.......:nrv:" :funny:

Why do you think this structure works much better? What was wrong with the last one?

Is Flynn just going to guest star and only feature in prison or will he be joining in the shenanigans again?

I didn't find this setting that interesting this week.

My dad and I watched it last season and intend to watch this season, but we had no idea it was premiering Sunday. I'd be willing to bet a lot of people didn't even know this was returning. After the cancellation people probably wrote it off and never heard about it's renewal. And others probably didn't know when the premiere was. And others probably couldn't be bothered to tune in on a Sunday night.

Last year a lot of people didn't watch it live and so that was partly why it was cancelled when they looked at the live viewing figures. But when they later checked the delayed figures it came out higher.

I think they've deliberately put it on this time slot so that it has less pressure to perform. It doesn't need to be on par with last year's figures.
