Batman in this movie will have a different look. He will be a little less experimental looking, and will be in an established suit that will probably carry over into even the third movie.

Does anyone have manips. of what they would prefer the suit to be like? Or what they think it -will- (regardless of what they want) look like.

Prepare to get bombarded with "Teh BatSuiT sHuld reMAin tEh SAMe LOL!!" posts.

Don't worry. I'm on your side. I can't post any visual examples of what I want the suit to be like, but give me a little bit and I'll write out a nice little description.

Just because someone likes the suit, doesn't mean that they type and think like an idiot.

A BOF report a while back speculated on minor changes to the batsuit. I believe they said that it was mostly gonna be unnoticable changes to the material, that'll make it more manueverable, and not much aesthetic change.

ooo!! i like the suit as is, but i think if they're going to make any changes it should look more like this.

and yes, i made this with paint, but you get the general idea of what i'm wanting.
haaahaha!
i think the only thing that should be worked on is his maneuverability in it.

lol i dont think people wanna see batman airbrushed running around on the streets

speak for yourself!!!!
but no, i know what you mean.
but just think what easy access he would have to his batarang. there would be no searching of his belt for the correct compartment.

I think that IF they change the suit they should use the suit from the animated series from volume four, the grey and black one with the black bat in the middle.... THE BEST SUIT BY FAR!!

im not Nolan or anything but i doubt they will make a grey suit for the movies, its always been black

Well, we'll just have to wait and see, batboy.
Anyway, someone (I think Roven) was quoted as saying the suit would be "smoother". To my way of thinking that means they will make the armor (like in the abdominal area) look less obvious.

That has got to be...........one of the most................brilliant ideas for a batsuit i have ever seen. I will not go see The Dark Knight unless batman looks like this.:hq:

personally i want just minor changes, but thats just me.

I'd really like to see the cowl become more like a sculpted helmet for above the jawline and then a form fitting but light/maneuvarable fabric covering it, going down to the neck and underneath the suit. More like the real cowl and less bulk on the neck.

I think they used a similar style for the Spiderman suit, so he could have full maneuverability for the neck but still have a non bulky/rubbery looking neck.

I hope that description works. I'm not talking about giving the guy a bike helmet with horns and putting a cloth over it, if that's what you're thinking.

See how the neck is? I believe in the movie they put a thin clay molding that functioned as a helmet, then put the fabric over it. Give it some horns, slits for eyes and an opening for the mouth and you have my general idea. The design for the cowl would be basically the same, just more form fitting and maneuverable on the neck, without any of that bulkiness.
