Info is slow right now. After the trailer is released on the internet, the excitment will begin to build. JAL was here in 05. He knows what I'm talking about. When I was The Thing 2005. I joined the hype 2 weeks before the movie opened.

Fox is keeping this sequel news tighter then a ticks A**.

And thats a good thing i think.

There were some extras around last time, my GF tried to pick up the conversation again with one of them. That was a no go. They are keeping a tight hold of multi-day extras. Alot of information got out last year that probably shouldn't have. To me this is only a positive.

They acted so swiftly and that on a Sunday.

It was pretty surprising to see that person go in to such detail.Other extras have said that they signed confidentiality contracts preventing them from discussing specifics of the movie.So FOX were in their right to ask for that blog to be removed. If it had been someone else not associated with FF2 that wrote that set diary then they probably couldn't.

Last time, we had a LOT more information than we do at this point. We had the "leaked" footage that showed a lot of images from the film in rough form. Enough to give away a lot of the look of the film, and ruin the surprise. Many of us had even read a rough version of the script by this time.

It will be great to see the trailer without having any idea what to expect.

I agree, I also think that some who have inside people here and post often really should be more discrete as to what information they give. Example: If indeed a script is leaked. People really need to be mature about how they give out the information. It seems that many are simply trying to get the biggest story, and get the biggest limelight. Unfortunately in doing that you take away alot of the surprise of those of us that like to open the gifts at Christmas, not find them in the closet 2 weeks before. Thats just me! And I realize that this is a spoiler thread on a site called the hype, but seems to me some integrity should be used as well. Maybe I'm asking for too much.
