On the other hand, Jason Goes To Hell was discontinued last year. They're probably going to come out with a similar delux edition. I don't know for sure, obviously, but it does make sense.

I'll be buying parts 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the Delux Editions soon. I only own part 4.

Are we forgetting that JGTH-FvJ are by New Line and not Paramount and therefore DELUXE EDITIONS will not apply to those films? I wish they'd come out with an edition like that for JGTH, but I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon. Maybe when the Remake sequal hits DVD...maybe.

I haven't forgotten that F13 Part 1 through 8 were Paramount. But Paramount isn't the only company that comes out with deluxe editions of their movies. New Line came out with extended editions of the LOTR trilogy. Universal came out with an extended cut of John Carpenter's Halloween. There's a special edition of the original Nightmare On Elm Street movies. And as I mentioned before JGTH has been DISCONTINUED. Which means it's very possible that when they start producing it again (and with a franchise as big as F13, you know they will) they'll come out with a special deluxe edition.

I do love the Extended version of Halloween 'Thundarr'. LOL...it's just stuff they shot during Halloween 2 and edited into film for tv.
