I did that. Sent them an email also. Told them I was stupid and couldn't figure out how to get to his message. Never heard anything back.

thats awesome!!!
but I doubt they'll reply...with the answer at least...

I've been trying to post mine for a while, but my camera has died!

I've put together a long grid and I can see a clown face as well....I don't know if it's MADE me see that, but that's what I was literally about to say!
yes...you noticed me...i havent followed all of em...but reading between the lines...i saw this too....
keep on track

I wanna see a clown face! Im so confused do the letters from the site match to number so on and so forth?

I think I MIGHT be onto something (yea we've all heard that) Try NOT cutting the squares into four, instead layering them so one quarter lays exactly over the same quarter. I think because theyre all rotated, each one only lays over one perfectly...if this makes any sense, im like 80% done with this, but idk...

I briefly gave up on the puzzle, and decided I'd try to look into any relevance in "be amazed" and "no substitution for fun". I just tried to make different words out of the letters, didn't really accomplish anything. I don't think there's anything there, at least not in that way, which I'm sure everyone else already figured out.

But I did come up with "Batman runs Dent out of size, boi."

Although I think I forgot to use one "f". Oh well.

This really made everything make sense, didn't it? You can solve the puzzle now! :brucebat:

This is ultimate cack, but at the top I can see, it's not the whole thing, because this is all I can get off currently :-/

Thinking about it, that does make sense. Have you come up with anything yet?

It sounds like it makes sense, is there anyway to show what you have so far?

I apologise forever more to all SSH for the sheer quality and possible madness of my photo post....:-p

That just might work...overlaying one quadrant on top of an identical one? It could explain the 'three work one doesn't' phenomenon I caught in A1, and why it wasn't repeated on some other pieces. I've got to bail from work and won't have time to do anymore on this, unfortunately, but that's a good idea. In the right order, it may form a message, a map, any number of things.

Solved!

First, look at what CJWilkie posted... then only view the spoiler if you want to know...
yay teamwork - cjwilkie and enaxor :D

enaxor in IRC ran the grid of letters through a simple substitution cipher...

A B C B D E F G E H F I
D G J J G K E L M J N E
M J G E N O G E J G A B
P K E C G N N G D E B Q
E N O G E Q B M D N O E
R B D K E N B E N O G E
D H S O N E B Q E G T A
O E A H D A C G K E Q H
U G E C G N N G D E R B
D K E N B E Q H P K E B
M N E R O G D G E N B E
S B E Q D B F E O G D G

which became (ie, A=C, B=O, C=L, etc)

color-me-imp
ressed-just-
use-the-seco
nd-letter-of
-the-fourth-
word-to-the-
right-of-eac
h-circled-fi
ve-letter-wo
rd-to-find-o
ut-where-to-
go-from-here

"color me impressed just use the second letter of the fourth word to the right of each circled five letter word to find out where to go from here"

look for the red circled words... on the hahahatimes... then follow the instructions...

And the destination:

good... good puzzle... imo

are you talkin about layering the quadrants that are the same? maybe they link the squares together, so you over lap the similar quadrants, or link them somehow

YEAH id like to see yours
it was the the approach ive already thought of...if the lines mach each other than they are layers....

Winner!

Okay, so I've looked at this thing too hard..I see a face, but its like a van gouh face. quadrants B4 and B5 are top of head, eyes, and ear, C4 is mouth and nose, D4 is the chin, and C5 forms the neck. I'm insane, thanks Joker!
