What you say is true! I think that the "crepe fest" is an underground casino they run that I thought must have existed all along. I don't know if the Joker did in Steve and Romeo, or if he just messed up their plans and that it how the police are onto Pasquale's. It's certainly possible, but just the same...

My thought has always been that the menu item "Crepes Casino" was a clue, and it means that people looking to gamble ask at Pasquales for where the off site betting happens (probably at the dock). In any case, that has to be what the "Sunday night crepe fest" is. As for what Joker did or did not do, we know he's interested in putting the hurt on the mob so that they are desperate enough to do his bidding. Whether Stevie and Romeo are dead at his hands or not does not seem to matter as much as what comes next?
