I tried Firefox and it wasn't much better. Maybe its just me or maybe my tablet is aging out. I just know it sucks taking 5-10 minutes to make a single post sometimes. (This one took 6 with me having to close the browser TWICE). This is the only place where I have this problem. I've been on this board for 20 years and it's never been this consistently awful like it has the past few months, with the exception of when I was allowed to use the Xenforo blue skin.

Even when my old iPad aged out the pages still loaded quickly, but things like embedded tweets weren't loading, just blank squares. Now the pages are slow and Bluesky linked posts are hit or miss as far as showing up.

You may want to consider upgrading to a Tab A9. The A7 with 4GB of RAM and a 4 year old midrange processor is probably the cause of your problems.

The A9 Plus for around $200 has 8GB of RAM so your experience may be smoother.

Wasn't crazy about my iPad. (Granted this was many years ago). It was buggy and aged out kind of fast. It burns me when a device is still morecor less functional but the Hype starts to suck on it.

Start a new thread, then click on "Thread Type." (I think that's where the options for polls are located.)

I don't understand. If I am trying to attach a poll to a new thread or one of my existing threads, how does filtering for old threads that already have polls help me do that?

Currently the Hype is slow for everyone right now.

Yeah, I've tried Firefox, Opera and Avast as browsers on the laptop, and it's been painfully slow these last days. More or less the same on the phone. Hopefully this is just temporary.

A page takes like 30 seconds to load. I'm having childhood flashbacks, I can almost hear my modem connecting.

There's no poll option for me either.
