New Live Action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie In The Works? - Part 3

I hope that the movie doesn't devote too much time to crappy TMNT characters. THE MOVIE MUST HAVE ENOUGH ACTION TO BALANCE OUT THE BORING STUFF THAT HAPPENS WHEN NO ACTION IS INVOLVED. Sorry for the caps guys. I'm not interested in crap like April's boss, or Vernon or Irma (if she's in it that is), the movie being pretty serious without being too serious is a must to me.

I really hope this is the epic some of us have been waiting for for years. One that is on a bigger scale with plenty of mutants.

To have an epic, you need characters your audience cares about. Otherwise you've got a movie bloated with fluff. I would like less Raph/Leo conflict and more stuff from Mike and Donnie. If they give Mike his love of superheroes, there could be an arc where Mike tries to act like a superhero, maybe to save someone dear to him, and it goes horribly wrong. Donnie could have an arc where he tries to rely wholly on his science rather than ninjitsu and science.

The burden of leadership, growing lax after becoming a successful leader, and being dragged back into the reality of a leader's responsibilities is a good arc for Leo.

IDK about Raph. Suggestions?

^ And Raph can be the first Turtle to bang Megan Fox.

Some Hot turtle wax action

Sadly there are stories on the interwebs detailing just such an encounter

Rule 34. If it exists, there's porn of it. So it's hardly surprising.

A few years ago, A turtle porn comic was featured on the Technodrome forums. It was a legit comic done " TMNT adventures " style by a couple of Mirage artists for fun. It featured Don and Mike having turtle on turtle sex, Rapheal smoking weed and sleeping with Ninjara, and Splinter on April action. Funny and disturbing at the same time.

I know they like to incorporate actual footage for teasers, but it would be cool if we got one attached to some summer movie just announcing that this is coming out next year.

they can just copy the animated movie teaser. you only see shadows running and jumping

You reminded me of Casey's step daughter
Wonder if they will ever make Casey a parent here

Idrgaf that the audience needs characters to care about. I do care, but not that much, if they don't like the characters that I want, that are in the movie, and that I like then tfb for them.

The only characters I dig from the 2003 TMNT cartoon series is Splinter, the turtles, Casey and April. Everything else is crappy to me, generic Baxter and Hun sucked royally, I think. I'm not a fan of Splinter's voice or Raph's voice from it though.

I like that the actors seem to just be using their own voices as opposed to putting on exaggerated ones. More authentic.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything. They could have other actors doing the voices that they're actually going to use. The stuntmen in the suits might just be saying dialogue so that the voice actors can get the timing right. Like with Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies.

Point being they sound less cartoony, in a sense.

Yeah, I'm definitely open to the idea of the actors using their natural voices. Brings a different take on the turtles; a little more realistic. I love the way Pete Ploszek (Leo) is screaming "Mikey!". I hope they don't manipulate that voice and take away the urgency of it.

I really don't think there will be different voice actors. I remember reading somewhere that these actors playing the turtles physically will also provide the voices. I really don't see the need to not have them provide the voices as well.

It's already been confirmed that the actors playing Raph, Leo, Mike, and Don are playing them both in "suit" and the voices.
