At least, considering that (no farther back than October) there was a report of yet another second act rewrite being done for this film.

That's because you're a fan looking for news every day online and talking about it all day on a messageboard. Normal moviegoers won't know about it until the trailer starts playing in theaters. Same goes for every movie like this. It feels like forever for us because we want new news every day from when it's announced until it hits theaters. Most people? A single poster, single trailer and world of mouth are all that matter. That's why production delays mean nothing in terms of marketing or good/bad PR.
Lol if the internet ever goes down I'll be miserable. In the 80's your only news came in bite size chunks through random magazines, which may or may not appear on your local shelf, interspersed with long long periods of nothing because you weren't thinkign about it.
Imagine hearing about a GALAXY BATTLES sequel, then 6 months later seeing a tiny footnote in Starlog about casting, then nothing for another year, where you might get a short director interview or something.
Such primitive times. I don't know how we managed to not kill each other with rocks.

i am happy that you wrotte all of this. everything now makes more sense.Jesus. Relax. This is why I don't mention things. People always take it way too far

My only nitpicks are Raph looking like Turtle Hulk, some Turtles looking a bit overdressed, and Shredder looking just way over the top.
I don't mind the pads, they actually look cool, but the chest piece is kinda over kill, (not that it looks like it would provide any protection anyway, an is more of decorative piece) but, still seems unnecessary give that he's already has a shell

its abit detracting, an take away from his over all look

It infuses the character.
He's clearly aping the something he saw/read in a samurai book. I'd imagine he's the type of teen that watched one to many kurosawa films or maybe it has something to do with how spinter dresses. The point is, this isn't a matter of why batman decides to wear a cape or why spidey has rubber soles on his feet in ASM. This is almost 100% characterization work seeing as they are choosing what they want to wear and obviously need none of it.
