Agreed! The original Alien movie trailer did this the best IMO. It was way back in the day so I may be remembering it inaccuratly, but the way I recall it still blows me away. It starts out in darkness and the camera zooms out revealing an Alien egg. Then it cracks letting out a green light. Then we saw the title of the movie with the tag line "In space no one can hear you scream". Back then no one had seen hide nor hair of an Alien yet. I remember thinking, "What the heck is this? I've got to see this movie!" Boy was I not dissappointed?

I prefer it when teasers and trailers don't give everything away and leave me wanting more. I must admit I was disappointed when I saw Kong in the trailer. I wanted to see him for the first time in the actual movie.

So what is Len Wiseman gonna do with Bruce Willis? Deck him out in skin tight black leather with a full length black leather trenchcoat? Ugh...mebbe I'm just jealous that he's married to Kate Beckinsale...oh the envy.

Link? All I could find was a fan made teaser.

And did the release date change for this movie? Because on other sites it states it comes out June 29th...5 days before Transformers.

I agree...the first time I see a transformation should be in the movies and not on my computer screen

that is amazing...:wow:

i hope the new TF teaser is a bit longer than that.... just like the TMNT trailer

DAMN!!! It does look pretty cool. I'm gonna have to see that...too bad no Samuel Jackson. But I still think Transformers is going to have it beat...I mean its about a boy and his car...how can you beat that??

Oooo, so close, Nosebleed. Midlife crisis leather. :word:

I hope what ever time the trailer goes online it isn't some stupid time of the day like 4:00am :(

It sounds good, except for the line about "adult geeks," which he should have either left out, or instead just said he had a room full of longtime TF fans who loved it.

Actually, the quote is:

"It's hard edged to show we are not a silly "toy" movie"

BEcause when A LOT of people hear "Transformers", they think SILLY TOYS. He's trying to show this isn't going to be something like Power Rangers. Beat him up for it.

Dude!! Don't act like you didn't like the FIRST Power Rangers Movie...it was pretty damn cool! Truly a very guilty pleasure! Even tho Tranzor Z and BOTH versions of Voltron used to be the **** back in the day!

^^^what? Power Rangers? There is no way anyone should like that piece of s***.

Wel done Mr Bay but methinks Mr Spielberg has had a part in this. I like teases in trailer. The War of the Worlds trailer worked very well because they just showed small glimpses of the tripods

The spidey 3 trailer looks to has shown most of film which might end up spoiling it

To me, the only thing going for the Power Rangers feature film was the theatrical feel and the cast trying to persevere over the inane choice of subplot and villain. Even as a kid I thought the choice of villain was stupid, and the ooze subplot has not aged well at all. The kick-in-the-crotch fight climax was also a stupid addition. All in all, it doesn't do the original series justice. A better villain and a serious approach without laugh-and-giggle additions would have done wonders. The Power Rangers were never a TMNT comic style of seriousness, but the gags were never over-the-top like in the film. The mystic altercations to the original forms would have had much more theatrical presence with an equally cool villain and subplot.

Anyways, that's my thoughts.

I've wanted to say this for a while, but have been holding back- on the record, I agree. Just today my class saw the trailer along with MI3, and MI3's behind-the-scenes look awed them more than the trailer. It's sort of pointless, and about the only saving grace is the notion that the Cybertronians are coming to the big screen (a feeling severely dampened if you read Prime Directive and their notion of 'good ideas').

Wow, people sucking Bay's ****, has hell frozen over?
No but check your ass for flying pigs.

Bernie Mac and Tyrese, in a Transformers film, lol. So Bay's trying to make us laugh again at another one of his films, eh? :)
