We all think that the film kicks ass

The cast & crew behind X3 said the same thing before it came out & that turned out to be a disaster in my opinion & besides its not like they are going to say the Transformers movie sucks. Im not believing any crap like this until I see it for myself

When the hell did I say that? I can't remember saying that, is that a false quote?

He's quoting the Don Murphy post. You should know, as it's in your post. :yay:

Well yes quote from DM, but he has quoted "me" as saying it. Don't want people putting words in my mouth now :D

Bay is a flippin' Genius. Anyone that saw "ISLAND" and understood that movie, knows Michael Bay can pull of tranformers. Does anyone know what movie we might catch the trailor with?

then that means Transformers is doomed cuz The Island was pure turd.

Don't get me started on MIAMI VICE...

I still cannot believe how let down I was :(

I was looking back at old quotes of DM

saying that two of the directors interested and they were going for were

Bay and Robert Zemeckis

if only, if only Zemeckis didn't meet DM

I really liked the Island:woot:

Orci and Kurtzman (TF screenplay writers) impressed me with both The Island and MI3. The Island had a pretty good story behind it and MI3 was (suprisingly) kick-a**. But, I strongly think The Island would have been a MUCH better movie in the hands of a better director.

I believe Bay learns from his previous efforts. TF will be better than the Island which was better than his other efforts :)

It will not be perfect (whatever that means) but it will be enjoyable :)

I wonder what the language 'Cybertronian' will sound like?

Knowing Bay it will either be the dial-up connection noises, or just the English tracks played backwards. :cmad:

The guy has had oodles of money and several super-duper huge (Pearl Harbor?) efforts and he's still making dumbed-out movies. James Cameron made Terminator first time out and then hit the ball out the ballpark with Aliens... Spielberg Jaws, etc etc. Talk about "perfect" movies?

Why do you think Bruckheimer dropped Bay like a bad habit and turned to a (better) director for Pirates of the Caribbean? I'm ready to eat my words come next July... but, I think Bay has his chance. The guy is probably the worst kind of filmmaker.

what he means "... see it in the theater!"?

If Bay hits Transformers out of the park I will worship him, but if he ****s Transformers up, he will have a lot of heat on him.

I'd venture no one is more aware of this at the moment than Bay himself.

I hope he is aware, and that awareness comes at a time when there is a chance to do major changes if needed in the CGI and editing room.

I really don't find her that attractive, she resembles a gold fish. I'll take moon face Ricci over her any day. ;)
