I dont hate the series, but I dont love it either. Im indifferent to it. Theres parts I enjoy and some parts I dont. But i dont hate it or anything. The second movie is entertaining. I liked it.

Lol. Anyways, yeah there are some parts that I do hate(and you'll see it if you read my other post) but there are some parts I like.

The music is pretty good in both movies. The part with Victoria in the woods getting chased by the wolf pack was definitely one of the better scenes I think.

Lol yeah. Me and a friend were talking yesterday(we both dislike the series) and we kind of came up with ways of changing it to the way we would have liked it.

I did hate the series at one point, but now im more in the middle.

I hated the music in Twilight but I liked it in New Moon.

I'm hella interested to see what Slade did with the next one in regards to it's looks.

I agree Angel, I wish they had found room for it because it's one of the few peices of music from Twilight that I actually liked.

I am too. I just hope he can balance the romance and action well. Because sure Eclipse has action in it (and they're rolling with that, showing the big battle), but it's still a love story above all. I hope David understands that.

I am too. I just hope he can balance the romance and action well. Because sure Eclipse has action in it (and they're rolling with that, showing the big battle), but it's still a love story above all. I hope David understands that.

They definately shouldn't forget the audience that gave them 142.8mil in it's opening weekend.

She was just so full of energy and passion for the project that you couldn't help but love her. Same with Chris. He just obviously cares about the material and wants to please the fans (which he did. Almost every fan I've talked to loves New Moon).

I've only read chapter 3 of New Moon once. I've read the rest of it several times, but always avoid chapter 3. It's just too upsetting.

^I was a huge fan of Buffy for the first two and 3/4 seasons but after that it kinda lost me.

It got too glum and I hate when they turn characters gay for no reason. If the character started out that way, fine but to do it just to add diversity is dumb to me.

Joss did hint at Willow's bisexuality, in the s3 episode "Doppelgangland" when Willow meets her evil vampire twin. He also planted a seed in season 2 for Xander too, so either Xander or Willow could become gay in the future.

Alexandre Desplat rules. Chris Weitz did say he and Desplat tried to hint at Carter Burwell's theme or do a homage to it while spotting and recording the score (I think there's a homage to it in the track "Dreamcatcher" on the score album). Burwell can do exceptional work, but his Twilight score wasn't a high creative point in his resume.

Desplat's score really, really helped the film. I'm going to buy the score album for NM at some point, it really is beautiful.

As for Eclipse, I think David Slade stuck to the same cinematographer and costume designer from NM, but brought in his own production designer and art directors. I really don't think the look of Eclipse will drastically change, but the way he handles the script and direction will be different.

So I just saw this online

I'll try not to bring up my problems with the book

The movie was pretty bad IMO. I didn't mind the first film but this one was very lackluster.

I did like how they upped the fight scenes a little from the first and how the film wasn't so "cold" feeling. The footage was just brighter which was good

But I thought that the acting was cringeworthy at times between the main 3 characters. The chemistry between them was terrible and all there lines were delivered so stiff, phony, and/or wooden. Most of the time I thought that the supporting cast (who didnt get that must screentime) were funnier, better acted, and just overall more interesting then the main characters and thats a huge problem.

Another big problem was the miscasting of Jacob Black. Maybe this was because I read the book, but Jacob was supposed to be really tall, muscular, and has a deep voice. Now, I understand why he wasnt like basketball player tall, they got the muscular thing down, but he just seemed too...nice to be the character that I brought back from the book.

All in all, it was bad. Twilight I honestly wouldnt mind seeing it again, but this one has no replay value and almost no redeemable qualities
