I get nervous though when fans worship Nolan saying he is god. I saw that thing with Bryan Singer and boy did he let them down.
Im a Christian so when I see that type of worship its freaking me out and usually has a backlash.

I'm a Christian too, but I know when people call anybody other than God, "god," they're just giving the highest compliment they can think of. As for people putting too much trust in creators - sure, I've seen it with Singer and Lucas and many others, and if you're saying it's the fans' fault for putting them on a pedestal, you're absolutely right.

But to me, that's probably a separate issue.

Hey, don't worry dude I was talking to Jesus yesterday (we were playing Euchre, but he cheats like a mofo, comes with the whole divine power thing I guess) but anyways, were were playing and I asked him,

"dude, u think Nolan really deserves all this praise. He gunna pull a Singer on a us?"

and he was like "**** dude, Nolan's doin' fine so long as he don't get too wrapped up in his whole "uber realisim" thing, but he'll be cool.

and I was like "dude chill, I was just asking a question."

and he was like "well it was a stupid question, you know what I did to the last stupid guy I met? He was going around killin' my homies, so I blinded his ass till he repented and switched over to the holy side"

so then I was like "you worried bout all the extra worship Nolan might get if he makes another kickass movie?"

And he was like "Naw dude, if too much of that spreads around I'll go old testiment on their asses and turn them into pillars of Salt like Lot's wife, it's all good."

So yeah, like Jesus said, it's all good.

I think singer did a great job with superman returns its just some crazy fanboys of supes are perfectionists to the extreme. Nolan on the other hand,though he is a good filmaker isnt really known for making action movie blockbusters of the batman/spiderman etc type i think his inexperiance in this genre is seen clearly in the more action oriented scenes in BB (the fight scenes, batmobile chase scene etc) where the editing is frankly terrible.

in the story/character aspect of Superman Returns, Singer did a great job. i think he will head into the X2 route w/ the sequel and give us MORE action. seriosuly, Superman did not throw one damn punch in the whole movie!!!!

however, his BIG screwup was to make SR as a "vague" sequel to the Donner films. he should of just made it as a restart. and don't get me started on the damn kid!!!!!

with that said, Nolan is gonna deliver the goods t: TDK is gonna be 100x better than BB
