I think Zack said they had to cut a couple of violent shots from the fight.I'm wondering if the Batman/Superman fight is longer too?

I'm a Bat fan mainly, but I'm hoping Supes gets a few more shots in somewhere.I think Zack said they had to cut a couple of violent shots from the fight.
Bruce remains untouched, outside his damaged helmet, so I don't think Superman did anything to him. I think, there was a brief shot in the trailer or a TV-spot, where Superman has blood on his face. I don't remember seeing it in the theater. And I watched the film 4 times.I'm a Bat fan mainly, but I'm hoping Supes gets a few more shots in somewhere.

Hi! I love this film so much! I've lurking here since its been anounced and post a little.
I can't understand why it got such hate, seriously, never will.
I loved MoS, that movie made me care about Superman (always loved Batman, and thought Superman was meh) and I think Supes is so well done, he's so good as a person, I mean he inspires Bats and WW to come back to their hero actions again, inspires humanity (the citizens) AND proves to Lex his good (and will prove he's powerfull once he comes back in JL).
Lex wanted them to fight for: 1 if supes kills bats he's not all good (zod doesn't mean in humanity's eyes cause he's a "god" too, and supes had not choice, batman is human), 2 if bats kill supes he's not all powerfull.
I love how MoS is about two fathers and BvS is about two moms.
Absolutly love the mythology here. Cavill is my Superman. I understand that Batman kills, but "men are still good" says everything, he's back in normal. WW rocks. Lex IS a villain, in a CBM, it does looooong time since I've seen one.
This is not the "movie of the moment" it makes u think, a lot. Here in Brazil its a sucsses, my friends loved it too.
I'd argue with this part a bit. Batman first realizes what he became in Martha scene, then he works with other super-heroes to deal with an ultimate threat, sees the sacrifice, watches other people mourn Superman... It all comes to him gradually. It's not until Superman sacrifices his life for all of humanity that Batman sees that men are still good. That Bruce sees this kind of good, the sacrifice, and he in turn he needs to believe in that good as he did in his earlier years. And so this cruel, cynical, jaded Batman returns to his more "normal" ways without the branding etc...
I don't understand how people can say this isn't a hopeful film. Every time I see it, I find it to be really inspiring. I'm going through a rough patch and was when I first saw the film and the thing I got from it was that even in the darkest hour, you can still rise from the ashes and soar again. That no matter how dark things might seem, there is always a light around the corner. Because of that, I personally found it to be really inspiring.
I just can't get over Beautiful Lie from the soundtrack. Hans Zimmer's finest work is BvS, no doubt about it. And this is from someone who's only loved and stood by Danny Elfman's pieces. Beautiful Lie is now among my most favourite

Yeah, I get what you mean.I get what you want to see.. an evenly matched fight, even when Supes is weakend by Kryptonite.
But, the thing is, if Superman hurts Bats, Superman loses as he is acting out of character.
The only way Superman wins this fight is by letting Batman win, if that makes any sense.![]()

Same, I was having a bad week the first time I saw it and the movie cheered me up a good bit and made more hopefully for the future.

I wonder if all the people who enjoyed the movie was in a not-so-good part of life when they saw it. I was in one when the movie came out. Depressing complementing depressing perhaps?
I absolutely understand.![]()
Oh I am sure a few of the happy go lucky folks enjoyed it. But I think the movie might be generally suitable for folks who are depressed. lol

Or TaliaI found a torrent.... Is that bad to say? In any case I liked how Bruce said to Diana, I've known women like you.... Gotta be reference to Catwoman... I didn't pick it up the first time... Anyway, it's probably been already discussed on here, but it brought a little smile to my face when I picked up on it![]()
