Peter making a recording for himself documenting his change is..odd. Not sure how to feel about it.
Strange how Gwen is a superhero in this. Will she still be killed by the goblin? I wonder.
Huh, so apparently the Marvel kids website has bios for the show: Venom, Black Cat, Carnage, Kraven, Amadeus Cho as the Iron Spider, etc. seem to be confirmed
If this is true, I'm a bit worried about how Spider-packed this is going to be. I mean we've got Peter, Gwen, Miles, Miguel, Amadeus Cho, and Anya? That's....kinda heavy. Unless they do some stories where it takes place in other worlds, I don't know how this will be balanced. Gwen and Miles' profiles mention alternate Earth's so, unless something changes, maybe the show will do "Today's episode takes place in another, but familiar universe.." it could get kinda crowded and I'd prefer the show not to drown in alternate universe hijinks.
According to the profiles, random things I noted:
-Rhino is mentioned as being Aleksei Sytsevitch, but also goes by Alex O'Hirn (nice touch)
-Mentions Carnage is a unstable villain, but makes sure not to mention he's a serial killer. (I can see them making him some sort of anarchist, chaotic criminal with a following)
-Cho is a 13 year old rival that "borrowed" Pete's Iron Spider costume when he brought it to school as a "last minute science project" and kept it. He's also getting into trouble due to his curiosity
-Black Cat is already a reformed thief
-Kraven's fought Spider-man several times and his "repeated failures have slowly driven him to the brink of insanity."
-Scorpion's profile makes mention of JJJ and the Bugle
Isn't this supposed to drop this month? Where are all the promos?
Again? Did that happen in the comics? Did Cho and Spidey ever meet?Huh, so apparently the Marvel kids website has bios for the show: Venom, Black Cat, Carnage, Kraven, Amadeus Cho as the Iron Spider, etc. seem to be confirmed
Fixed that for you heh, joking aside, I'd love it if they brought them in and just had them build up something big, connected, coherent and wonderful. They should just pay Bruce Timm and Paul Dini a boatload of money and let them do the nextSpider-ManMarvel Universe animated series
Hmm, honestly, I'm not sure. I can't recall them having any significant interaction. That, combined with the art from the new cartoon promos for Venom, make me wonder if this is tied to the upcoming show.Again? Did that happen in the comics? Did Cho and Spidey ever meet?

Apparently, some of the bios and artwork were rehashed from Ultimate Spider-Man.
Oh really? Interesting. I completely avoided the show, so that slipped past me. Thanks for the heads up!
Huh? Is this from the other shorts or something?
It would be really lazy for them to rehash that plotline.
