Superman II wouldnt work for obiviou reasons (cliche and already used)

Superman: Zod

is simple and effective

After hearing "The Dark Knight" was BB2's title...I think it's a safe bet to say "The Man of Steel" is a good SR2 title.


But I think something like "Superman Legacy" or something like "Superman Forever" are the ones we'll be getting.

Basically, I want a story that focuses on, as one of the title's say, the first adventure of Superman. Not an origin story with an hour of Krypton/Smallville, but at the same time not an established Superman story. Think Batman 89 with better respect for the source material and actual time spent on the title character.

If it does, I could see Warner Bros. copying LoTR w/ the title and a phrase, or maybe they'll do what Nolan and co. did. (TDK)

I think the title should depend on the villain who's used in the sequel. . . if and when that happens. I'd expect Brainiac to serve as the evil presence so I'd probably go with:

Superman: Two Sons of Krypton

The Man of Steel does sound right for the sequel, but i reall hope Brainiac is the villain. So if he is then another would for sure be Superman: Brainiac.
