looks like they are trying to mature the characters which looks like a good thing from the covers we have seen

because i really want jay or kevin to be in the book. but i might still get it...maybe

They did say that you'll still see characters that we know and love,.. just that their not a part of that main team. I think Jay and Kevin will still be around. And besides, it would suck if they are gone,.. but the new creative team could build up the other characters to where you may ending up liking them more,.. you never know until you give it a try.

SPOILERS first off, for #19 and the Yearbook.

Well, the yearbook was pretty pointless and just tied up some loose ends. Not much to talk about...I wouldn't even really recommend it unless you really love Academy X.

19 had lots of craziness in it though. What I want to know is, is Laurie dead? I mean, I know she is in the House of M world, but do we know if that means shes also dead in the 616 universe? I don't know if they've clarified that...

I don't think they've made a public announcement about it yet, but my instinct is that it wouldn't carry over. Or else Gwen Stacy and Uncle Ben are going to be alive again, and Reed and Sue Richards are going to stay dead, etc etc. Plus, Noriko is going to be on the new team.

As I said in another thread...even under the influence of the utter SUCK that is House of M, New X-Men still manages to be awesome. Dang.

but the thing is, wanda made gwen and ben so thery are NOt real. wallflower and the rest are. wanda did not make everthing in new x-men 19 happen, things JUST happened. it looks to me (as it should be) that everyone who died in HOM are very much dead. wallflower was real and she was really stabbed. i dont hate her but i dont care if she's dead (which she should be) HOM is just a blanket. a very, very thin blanket.

But members of the Fantastic Four really are dead in this universe, and I can't imagine Marvel planning on keeping them that way, so people who died because of Wanda probably aren't going to stay dead. Then again, maybe I'm giving too much credit to Marvel and Bendis in terms of them keeping consistency between books.

I actually think I'd prefur those who die in HoM stay dead,.. but with the FF I doubt that's going to happen.

the FF are not dead tho, wanda put them somewhere like she put Prof. X. i mean did the FF die on panel? if they did then they are dead. we've seen people stabbed and again, that was very real.

I'll read it tomorrow when I get it,.. but if it was Sophie or Esme,.. then they're both already dead. (Sophie died in Riot At Xaviers, and Sophie died in Planet X)

Holy crap.... I love these guys!!!!! I got chills listening to what they had to say and now this has become my most anticipated book!!!! And I love that David, Sophia, and Jay are still going to be around! And this page is awsome!
