a super strong guy named Gentle? dont we already have Collossus? and with such a cool looking character...they could have given hime something other than, or at least in addition to, super strength

Not super, extreme strong lol. I would have bet his powers had to do with something mystic looking at those tattoos, but you can't never be right with this writers on board.

I'm really liking this Magik arc. Especially because I love Illyana and because of the new team, the new kids are really interesting, and the art has being so dynamic and fluid. I just hope the writers will give these kids some time off.

BTW, i'm so glad to have Sofia in the first issue of New Warriors. Seeing how many mutants got their powers back since Apocalypse, Grievoux should do something for her in this book and get the girl flying again.

yes they did create him and even if they didnt, he was only a background character with no hint about his powers until the last issue

His name is Nezhno, who's codename is, (get this) "Gentle". And if you think fire people is an overused powers, this guy's power has only been listed as "extreme strength". I swear, if the writers aren't apeing off of some other storyline, they don't have a creative bone in their body.

Gentle actually would be an awesome name for Elixir...its better than Elixir.
i may just have to tune in to see whats going on in this book just to see what will happen with baby Apocalypse

and if they already have a power hitter in Rockslide(whom i like...i wanna see him and Hulkling in a book together) why bring in another?
