This Is my most anticapted 2013 comic book movie.

I have no Intrest In Man of steel since I have no Intrest In yet another Superman reboot.Iron Man 3 based onExtremetes storyline Is very low and If rumors are true of having Mandiaran In name only In film that Isn't too exciting.with Thor 2 I consider Thor to be weakest of marvel studios film(yes I do think Iron Man 2 Is better than thor)

The Wolverine and First Class sequel are comic book films I am most Intrested In with the Dark Knight rises. If Joss Whedon officially signs on for the Avengers 2 then I will be anticapting that.

Now that filming Is set for august they need to start castingwho will join Hugh Jackman In film.

yeah and lets hope its not him slicing a fire escape ladder God please let this film be Good!

Yes only 2-3 months to go!!!

Wolverine Sequel Begins Casting Roles
By Pete Keeley
MAY 23, 2012

Lisa Beach and Sarah Katzman have begun casting “The Wolverine,” which will star Hugh Jackman, Backstage has learned.

Beach and Katzman, who were attached to the project last fall before it was put on hold, are casting out of Los Angeles, with additional casting taking place in New York, London, Australia, and Japan.

Ever since 2009’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” grossed almost $375 million worldwide, the chances of Fox making another Wolverine movie have been at or near 100 percent. After securing screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie in August 2009 and director Darren Aronofsky in November 2010, the project looked to have a clear path toward a start date in spring 2011.

But then in March 2011, Aronofsky announced he was leaving the project for personal reasons. Four months later, Fox announced that James Mangold was its new choice to direct, and a tentative start date was set for last fall. But filming was again postponed, this time so that star Hugh Jackman could portray Jean Valjean in Tom Hooper’s production of “Les Misérables,” alongside Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, and Sacha Baron Cohen. “Les Miz” began filming in March at London’s Pinewood Studios and is scheduled to wrap up in June, so “The Wolverine” is now scheduled to go before cameras in July. Filming is not likely to be pushed again, as Fox has officially slated the project for a July 26, 2013, release.

The plot finds Wolverine traveling to Japan to train with samurai warriors. The original intent was to shoot the film on location there, but now the majority will be shot in Australia.

I know it's unlikely but i would love it if they used Wolverine's costume in this one. I don't buy the "it looks silly in a movie" excuse anymore, just look at Avengers.

If not the yellow costume then the brown and tan costume from the 80's/early 90's would be perfect for a movie in Japan. Ninja's and all that.

I wouldnt mind if they use the Wolverine X Force costume minus the red eyes

Although I seriously doubt the costume will show up in this film

I really hope he finally wears a costume.

i swear i will LOSE MY **** in the THEATER if he wears the Brown and Tan costume!!!!

I highly doubt they'll use any variation of the costume.

The film's a crime drama disguised as a superhero film. At least that was Slade's assessment of the screenplay. Because of the aforementioned, I doubt a costume would really fit - although I would love to see Jackman in the orange/tan costume. It would be true to the comic & if the film's as good as [people keep saying] the screenplay is, would make for a great iconic finale to Jackman's Wolverine legacy.

This film has the right flavour that a costume could be brought in as some kind of armour of training outfit at some point without feeling too forced. I wouldn't mind seeing a variation of it in the film somewhere.

That would rock if they managed to make it work and gve him some sort if mask.

There has to be a narrative purpose though, why would he be wearing that suit? If he's dealing with ninjas what's the point of it, because it's not stealth looking at all, and leaves his arms exposed. It would just be fanboy bait, and that's always horrible.

^I've been telling people since the Aronofsky days that the only way to justify the orange/tan costume's use in the film, is the scene at the opera. Wolverine is there to kill people watching the show & they could have a quick shot where he grabs something off a wardrobe rack [which happens to be the orange/tan costume] to blend in with the players on-stage. He then kills everyone whilst wearing it. That would work pretty well.

I always thought it could be some sort of armour for when he fights in the film.

Yeah that would look good in live-action :woot:

I saw this via a friend on FB. NOT AN OFFICIAL TRAILER.

But I must admit, I did think it was a trailer(until I went on the actual youtube site) and I did really like it. If something like this was done as a teaser trailer, in such a motion comic style, t would have me VERY interested.

That was FANTASTIC.

I would love it if Mangold does something similar to that.

Its definitely Aronofsky-esque.

I'd love the more comic booky costume but I really think they'd struggle to make the mask work

A tweet:

Laura Aghajanian ‏@luluagh Fantastic week working on pre-production for Hugh Jackman's film "The Wolverine".It's gonna be a must see! I've worked with some of the best

If they did a teaser trailer/trailer like this, in that style and music, it would have me in giddy excitement for this film.

Hugh reported he has gained 24 pounds since he started filming "Les Miserables" in March (he started filming as a prisoner), and then there were daily reports from the UK of spotting him in various gyms, I'm sure bulking up. He's done filming and back in NYC, and here's the results, from June 15:

Certainly looks that way - he was wigged all through Les Mis since his head was shaved for the beginning prisoner scenes in early March (but he had different "hair" looks throughout since he ages quite a few years through that movie). You can also see how much weight he had lost for the beginning scenes, which obviously he has now gained back.
