No, it was an Xbox exclusive, not a "MS" exclusive, and Xbox is where it remained until that platforms death. NG2 is a 360 exclusive, and is where it will remain until that platforms death, at which point they may port it to the PS4...but I wouldn't count on it. NG2 isn't multiplatform. There's mountains of evidence that supports this. Just accept it guys. Accept it

No one seems to see how Team Ninja works from history.

DOA: Saturn -> Saturn dies -> PS1
DOA2: Dreamcast -> Dreamcast dies -> PS2
DOA3: Xbox
DOAX: Xbox
Ninja Gaiden: Xbox -> Xbox dies -> PS3
DOA Ultimate: Xbox
DOA4: Xbox 360

It's pretty obvious how this works. Sony consoles get ports after the original platform dies. Not to say Team Ninja won't make an original PS3 title, even though they probably won't, but Ninja Gaiden 2 is under development as a 360 exclusive, and after that Team Ninja remains busy, so don't expect Ninja Gaiden 2 on the PS3.

Actually, according to that poster they sent around at E3, they remain busy....with other 360 exclusives, so yes, Team Ninja won't make an original PS3 title. This is a one shot deal, and it's going to be hilarious five years from now when NG2 to PS3 rumors are still making the rounds

Actually, it's the other way around 1UP and EGM are run by a guy named Shane, who in various podcasts has claimed to be a "huge sony fanboy", so uh, yeah, you're totally wrong, which is no great surprise. NG2 is 360 only. So is Code Cronus, DoAX2, Project Progressive, and anything else Team Ninja does. Accept it

Tecmo is testing the water for a PS3 version of NG2 by releasing NGS. Is that really so hard to get?

Okay then... Explain what Ninja Gaiden is doing on PS3.

Clearly Tecmo has both the desire and the manpower to bring the franchise to PS3, so I don't see why some people think it's such a stretch that both istallments will be on the system. Even if Team Ninja is "busy for the next half decade" it doesn't matter, because Tecmo has already proven with NGS that they have enough programmers that TN wouldn't have to.

Itagaki hand picked the guy for the port. It's not like if it sells, that the team behind NGS might not be asked to port over NG2 at some point.

Just going to point out for chronological sake that the PS2 port of DoA2 happened way before the Dreamcast died.
