No Confirmation Yet, Is TIH2 Going to Happen?

The Dark Knight was great but I thought Batman Begins was better because it captured more of the essence of Batman and had more focus on him.

Sometimes, I think that Batman Begins should have been titled The Dark Knight.

While, The Dark Knight could have been titled Batman: Rise of The Joker.

So there you have it... If Marvel saved TIH for July 2009, it would have been a big hit. :oldrazz:
I sense the levity in your post but just to humor you, maybe the box office might've been kinder, maybe not. We'll never know exactly.

What I do know is that this year's movie lot is slim pickings compared to last year's. With the exception of a couple of titles, there's nothing that makes me want to rush to the theatre and spend my money.

TIH's chances may have fared better this year when you have chick flicks taking the number one spot at the b.o.

Summer 2008 reminded me alot of the summer of 1989 when everything kickass came out.

It was so awesome when Hulk said "Hulk Smash" in TIH, I hope there's more talking from him in The Avengers and TIH2.

Hulk definitely needs to have his own personality, and not just be "******ed Banner." This was a problem with all 3 live action versions.

I never saw it like that, but you are totally right about that.

I was just discussing superhero movies with a friend of mine who is NOT a comic book reader, but he is a fan of action movies. He likes a few of the super hero movies that have come out, but his 2 favorites are Batman Begins and TDK. He told me that these movies are grittier, more realistic and most of all for adults. I couldn't agree with him more, and I really hope that Marvel starts to realize that the major fan base is comic book readers. And as most know, comics aren't for kids anymore. I want a HULK movie with more anger, action and a story line that isn't watered down so kids can watch. I don't want a story line that feels it needs to spell everything out for those who don't read comics. Tell a good story and there will be no need for such weak scripts. I thought TIH was a very good movie, but it could have been better. I can't wait until Marvel pulls out all the stops and lets their characters shine as they should.

Post of the century. Hallelujah! I've been complaining about that ever since Lee's film. Of course this will require a CGI character to actually ACT ala' Gollum in LOTR(full extensive use of dialogue and all that). It'd be a major undertaking, but until they go there Hulk will never be able to reach his potential as a movie franchise.

Yea.. i thought Batman Begins was better than TDK... i would give TDK a 5/10 and Batman Begins and TIH both 10/10s
