No Confirmation Yet, Is TIH2 Going to Happen?

I think a mutated Grizzly would be scarier than a tiger or lion. I just want to see something that stands upright.
I wouldn't mind seeing a variety of vicious animals mutated by the Leader.
Lions, tigers and bears....oh my!

I just think mutated Grizzly bears would be lame. And adding a lot of stuff into one movie is bad business. You think on too large of a scale.

Okay how about a Mutated Turtle a teenage one at that.Or maybe even four of them.
I've got it for artistic refreances name them after famous artists.

Anyone got any ideas on how the Leader should look?

I'd say keep more of a brain shaped head instead of the long rectangular look, and use prosthetics and make-up instead of CGI for him, because he's human sized with a big head, and that can easily be done with make-up and prosthetics.

I don't watch Star Trek, so I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Please don't show pics, that show is atrocious. :D

..interesting :oldrazz:

I can't believe anyone would honestly want a reboot after what was done in TIH...

Yeah I agree. I was very pleased with it. Banner was really likable, we had a villain that the hulk can fight with, and very appropriate and sufficient respect was given to both the comics and the tv series (The best superhero series to me ever). I want a sequel to this film, with Norton. No more reboots.

Yeah, the next reboot shouldn't happen until Leterrier & Norton have successfully finished this one, and so far they've gotten a great start. One big advantage I think this superhero movie has over others is that the main villain doesn't die at the end, which is something I really got tired of seeing.

Yeah, bring on TIH 2. No more reboots. Bring on the Leader, and possibly Gargoyle.

Gargoyle.. is that the guy who dies a human..? The guy from the very first Hulk story..?

If you're going to increase the Hulk's movie franchise potential, than you have to have somebody more mainstream then the leader and somebody more well-known than Gargoyle.

I vote:

I know Gargoyle from the 90's animated Hulk cartoon. He was like the Leaders lab assistant. I know he was a Doctor once, and then gamma poisoning disfigured him........

I wouldn't mind seeing either Wendigo, or ZZZax....

...voiced by Mark Hamill.

Gargoyle was funny in the animated series, but I don't really think he should be in this franchise, unless they change his design and make him a bigger and more powerful threat.

I'm voting for this guy to be in this franchise:

take your pick.

i say a good combo of the first three, with the face of the fourth one and skin color of the third one.
what do you all think ?

Doing a reboot is a waste time. The good thing that the Incredible Hulk turned out much better than Ang Lee's HULK.

I'm glad there is a sequel coming up in the future.

Never saw the 90s Hulk series--only time I saw him was in the first Hulk story--big red headed guy, no subtlety there

Me too coz from what i remember he is teh leaders brother. Thereby you could have the idea of the leader being so evil he turns his unwitting brother into a rampaging monster.

I think Leader will do as a great bad guy, come on its about the story not the bad guy, look at Ironman who the hell was his bad guy in the movie anyways? Plus his next bad guy some Asian guy with rings? Hulk has more well known bad guys than all the Avenger. All we need out of TIH 2 is less cutting of important parts, good Advertisement, more Destruction, more hulk talk and more Hulk (power wise),

TheVileone nailed it he posted:

Now I am going to go on a weird tangent here, and I'm sorry if this sounds ridiculous. I think the other problem was that in both movies, Hulk is sort of one note. Now they did fix this in some ways in Incredible Hulk. He did say Hulk Smash. And that's great stuff. There just wasn't enough of it. There wasn't enough of Hulk interacting with people besides Betty and smashing. Or showing that he's really just this big, angry kid.
I think the only moments where I saw a couple elements of greatness in Ang Lee's Hulk, first was the puny human bit, and then the realization in the fighter jet sequence where Hulk diverts the plane from hitting a bridge because he doesn't want it to hit the bridge and hurt the people on it.
So I think Hulk's human side or rather his conscience could've been explored some more. He could've talked more, not actually converse but used more Hulk language. Let people know more about his mindset. Also the idea that Hulk knows Banner, and doesn't like Banner, I miss that too.
Basically the movie needs to be about the Hulk.I didn't feel that in either film.

When I was a kid.I read page after page of stupid dialog."Hulk smash!!!Hulk not like." We all did but we didn't care because the comic was about the Hulk.We loved the character so much we didn't care what he had to say or even if it didn't make sense.Just so long as he said it.You know allot like politics.
Anyway it needed to be about the Hulk not his Psyche not Betty not Ross not anything or anyone but the Hulk.He was like an extra.actor

All in all Marvel felt no-one would believe this character or believe in this character so they made it about the supporting Characters.
Think about it.Hulk could have been titled"The Psyche of Bruce banner or Dad gone bad.Guest starring the Hulk.TIH could have been titled Bruce on the run or Reunited guest starring the Hulk.

The reason that The Hulk T.V.series was a success was because it was actually about the Hulk.Everything else his life on the run his pain his emotional distress was secondary.Bill Bixby let you know his mind was always on the Hulk. All they are doing is imitating the elements to it but have not nailed down the source. All this other stuff is important but it should be secondary.

I mean from another standpoint, I understand since you have this big CG creation and it might seem silly if he they didn't execute some of those ideas just right.

I simply missed the movies having more Hulk and seeing more of the Hulk and the Hulk having an actual personality.
