No Hulk sequel, a RE-START instead.

This is what i have thought they will do ever since they announced Penn as the writer. He seems to specialise in movies without any substance and that are just made to please the masses. I think there will be no Hulk mind battles in this new one, a la the mirror scene when Hulk is falling from the sky. Or we wont get Betty's dreams being re-enacted by the Hulk or anything like that. I think we are going to get a happy slap get to the next set-piece as soon as possible summer flick that will be 100 minutes long.

Might still be good, but i doubt it.

After seeing the hulk over the weekend, I would really like to see the movie continued. I liked the story and I would hope that it would continue.

There is a strong possibility of that i know, i just wish Avi Arad would come and visit this board at the moment, this is the most active its been for a while and 90% of us here want a sequel, that wont deviate too much from the first movie.

*raises hand. I was one of them. After further review of th hulk (a second viewing) I actually like it alot.

No, not really. I liked it enough to see it twice opening day. I honestly don't care whether we get a sequel or a new beginning, as long as they're making a new Hulk movie with Abomination in it.

When I reached 3000 posts a couple weeks ago, I was looking for something to replace my old avatar (the Six Flags guy with Darth Sidious' hood + lightsaber) and there was a thread about:

Kids being in trouble for wearing these images at school. I wanted to use drinking Bert, but the Ernie one came out better.

You go in expecting one thing, get another, & are still receptive enough to enjoy it. It took me 2 viewings to really, REALLY like it. And I was testing myself. I went in in an action frame of mind, then went back, trying to really embrace the somber drama. And it worked.
