I wish Lizzie McGuirecame on more.

Duff as a love interest. Pass... alot.
I don't want to see Hilary Duff, because let's face it, that's all who we will see. I want to see whoever the character is.
Totally agree. Nothing against Hilary, neither hate her nor a fan of her's per say, but think too that she is too known of an actress. I would rather them cast more of a up and coming unknown (like they did with Garfield).
That doesn't make sense. Bay was TOLD to use Optimus and Megatron. Singer was TOLD to use Prof. X, Wolverine, and Magneto. Raimi was told to use Doc Ock in Spider-Man 2. Raimi didn't write the script for Spider-Man 2. So he was told how to do his job in that respect as well. But you know what? The movie was great. Venom sucked because Raimi didn't want to use him and was forced. Raimi was even allowed to write the script! Venom sucked because Raimi didn't like him. So he changed him to some stupid doppleganger or whatever.
That makes sense to you?Duff as a love interest. Pass... alot.

Back before SM3 was going to be released we got wind that they cut it down and the reasoning was that no child is going to sit in a theatre for 3 hours.

. Do you have a link or thread where that was discussed?Duff is too well known and Disneyfied for my tastes.

How do we know SM3 was originally 3 hours long?

I do not remember "getting wind" of that (love that phraset

There's an entire thread dedicated to the deleted and alternate scenes in Spider-Man 3...WITH PHOTOS!!!!! Just go look for it in the Spidey 3 archives.
I understand that, I just do not remember talk of that prior to the movie being released.
t:It happened when Grant Curtis released his book about the making of the movie. It featured photos from a bunch of scenes that we knew weren't gonna make it into the final cut. Then, there was that featurette that screened on AMC theaters in December 2006. There was a quick shot of Sandman's wife and daughter at the construction site. When people started attending critic/advance screenings in April they informed us that the ending was different.
Thanks for the info! Do you know if there was a thread talking about it, and if the official explanation was that a "kid would not sit through a 3 hour movie"?
