JokerNick said:maybe mention Metropolis or even Superman...........???
El Payaso said:Schumacher did both already.
Bith of those for the most part sounded like a 4th wall pop-culture in-joke reference than a serious acknowledgement of DC universe.Katsuro said:and in Batman and Robin. "This is why Superman works alone". I liked the Metropolis mention in Batman Forever, but the Batman and Robin one was pretty lame.

cerealkiller182 said:Bruce can watch Jack Ryder (the Creeper)'s TV show. A mention of Metropolis or other cities would be cool. OF course, I dont see anything like this ever happening. Nolan seems pretty fixed on the whole reality angle and wont reference other comics.
Retroman said:I'd like a small references just like theres references to Gotham City in Superman Returns.
Some possibilities are...
-A map on Bruce's mansion wall showing Metropolis
-A Daily Planet newspaper in the batcave, showing that Bruce reads the news from all around.
-Wall of clocks in Wayne tower showing the time in Metropolis, Fawcett City, Central City and other major cities.
-Mention of Clark Kent somewhere in the film, that reporter guy.
lujho said:How about using a character like Slam Bradley - not just a reference but an actual small role?
Which made it just about perfect for B&R.Katsuro said:and in Batman and Robin. "This is why Superman works alone". I liked the Metropolis mention in Batman Forever, but the Batman and Robin one was pretty lame.
Steelsheen said:yeah that would be nice, but the GP wouldnt know who Slam Bradley is
BatScot said:There are no 'supers', whether that be super-men or super-naturals, in Nolan's 'real world' viewpoint, and the less the "DC Universe" encroaches upon that viewpoint the better... if I can walk out into the street and see it, then fine, put it in, no matter how bizarre, but if it defies the laws of the known universe then forget it. So from that perspective it is pointless to refer to Metropolis, because what is Metropolis without a Superman?
Those are nice.Batman said:I can see plenty hero mentionings or cities working out well.
- Wishful thinking, is a nod to The Question. Perhaps a mention of him as reporter Vic Sage. A way for it to happen is Bruce is probably switching channels, and we hear the name.
- Another would be a connection to other cities. I'd like to see someone mention Star City. I agree with the ones Retroman listed. Mainly Central City if possible, considering Goyer is currently adapting The Flash.
- To add to the Star City mentioning, I can possibly see Green Arrow. Not have him appear fully, but enough so that comic fans recognize it. Something along the lines of, "Who is Star City's new Robin Hood?" or "Who is Star City's new hooded figure?"
Maybe they could send Rachel to Metropolis though i very much doubt we'll get a cameo from her in SR2, if that ever gets made.StorminNorman said:I want Katie Holmes to be sent to Metropolis, and perhaps make a cameo appearance in SR2. I would love to see Central City and Star City also in various ways.
Sorry! Two Face said:When Alfred brings couple of newspapers we see "Daily Planet" picked up by Bruce.
EDIT: Retroman already mantioned that damn!
I love this one. It doesn't even need to be anything big to distract the audience.JokerNick said:Alfred Trying to wake up Bruce
Afred "wake up master Wayne, you have an important business meeting to attend in metropolis this morning"
Bruce: "Call me secretery and have her reschedule it"
