FOX is official screwed. this two clips will be the reason that even dragonball fans will not watch the movie.
a worldwide realese would at least get fans on opening day.

actually i think the first is Legend of Chun-Li...and that was done by Fox also.

Ah, I have found it. Seems like Chatwin put all of his acting abilitity into that one line. At least he picked the right line for it.

It reminds me of the poor job Keanu did in carrying the first Matrix. He definitely picked up the slack later on though. Hopefully, if this film's a success and warrants a sequel, Chatwin will learn from history.

True. Liev Shrieber and Hugh Jackman look good, and possibly Huston. But then there's the awful scenes with kid-Wolverine and, of course, Deadpool

I'm sure it will. As long as it make anywhere from probably $250 million, preferably $300 million, or beyond it'll get a sequel. There are plenty of kids that'll want to see this movie, meaning parents will have to take them and pay for tickets as well. Not to mention the die hard fans who will see it (whether for or against) and the general audience who might go out of morbid curiosity. Plus I'm sure it'll make loads for DVD sales.

I'm not saying it's going to be a record setter, just that it doesn't take much to warrant a sequel. And if there's a profit to be made, FOX is all over it. I just hope for a big enough profit that they'll replace Ramsey and potentially Wong.

If a film makes triple it's budget, then it's a success. People have gotten too caught up in past films, like SM3, where the budget was like $250 mil. They've convinced themselves that to be a success you have to be a record setting blockbuster and make like $800 million worldwide. If people are willing to throw out that much for a piece trash, albeit entertaining piece of trash, like SM3. They'll do the same, on a smaller scale of course, for DB:E.

guys for the sake of the film lets try not to let these clips circulate... lol

since we all did this I think we should see it at least twice in theaters.

I'm still hopeful that someone will see potential and make good adaptations of Vegeta and Frieza.

Superman Returns struggled to reach $300 mil WORLDWIDE and that movie had much better marketing and the popularity of Superman behind it. plus, there wasn't nearly as much negativity surrounding it. there is no way that DB:E will make more than $200 mil, and that's being very optimistic. hell, breaking even and earning $100 mil, if it's lucky enough to survive the first week, is still being optimistic.

unless Fox or Wong can pull rabbits our of their @$$es, we most likely won't be getting a sequel.
