I dunno fellas, I think the Japanese leaked copy has been edited horribly. The scenes that were online a few weeks ago were a little different than what made the theatrical cut over in Japan. Makes me wonder if the American version is different.

clips that are realesed for promotion are a lot of times shorter . so the editing is automatic different.

even if the American version is different, how different can it really be? they obviously put the best parts of whatever they made into the Japanese release so it's not as if there is something special that will make up for the rest of the movie being dismal.

even if they included everything they shot in the American release, it would essentially be the same movie. Chatwin's and Rossum's acting would still be bland, Piccolo would still be a typical villain, much of the story would still be changed, and the action would still be 'meh'. basically it would be 2 hours of suck instead of just 1 and a half hours of suck.

I find it to be an even harder slap in the face to have the Japanese theatrical release a half ass version of the film IF thats the case. But like Dorky said, extended scenes are not really gonna change the film overall, it just makes the eyesore even worse.

The Japanese version was 89 minutes, why would any other version be longer. Even if thats the case and they for some illogical reason make the US version 100 mins long it doesnt change anything about the movie. The 89 minutes already showed everything. You think 11 more minutes can save this ****ed up mess?. I dont think so. I still think the 100 mins thing is a lie, like this whole ****ing movie. Hell even the city being destroyed doesnt even happen in the movie, its just a darn quick vision Goku has of something that "might" happen in the "apocalyptic future" that at the end never happens. Even that part was a darned lie.

if this was anyother studio i would tell you now that its a fact that the running time is 1:40. because of boxofficemojo.
but i was on SHH in 2006 when X3 was realesed. and again.......they lied about the running time and about the story.
there is a chance that the movie is 1.40. but since FOX has not change it could mean that they aagain lied.

i wanted something lie this in the movie. of course with ki blasts and body flying through walls.


the reality. when you watch a movie where they actually have quality martial art fights then................DB:E fights look even more bad. watch the last matrix fight. and you will see what in 2003 was made.

Ya i've noticed in the leaked japanese version that it was obviously poorly edited. The beginning,when Goku is driving his scooter to school and the bully runs it over, it cuts very quickly to the bully already talking to goku. Didnt even show him get out of the car.

Another is Roshi saying "hey, they even have a snack bar!" cut from the temple scene.

There are some unnatural skips during some scenes in the bootleg, and I'm pretty sure it's the fault of whoever videotaped it.

Okay so i just watched it online, and nowhere in the movie does Piccolo use his sword, nor does Goku use his Power Pole at all. Other than the beginning training scene (on the closelines) He never uses it. They show it sometimes, like in his backpack or something, but he never uses it.

I read on IMDB film was 100mins for April release, but then again it is IMDB, so you can't believe that.

There are some scenes in the Uk tv spots that wasnt in the leaked version. The movie does not feel complete can we agree on that.

Why did Goku's gi look ridiculously stupid. All puffy in the chest and the blue sticking out of the neck. All they had to do was give him an orange karate gi, a blue shirt, and a blue belt. It shouldn't have been that hard.

it looks puffy because they tried to make him look muscular when he really isn't. check the shoulders on his gi, they're ridiculous! they needed to make him look bigger because this is what his body frame looks like when he's not trying to look big...
