Well, at the very least it sounds like Marsters took his role in the film seriously. He's very underrated actor, and it's a shame he's in a movie that'll most likely be a high-profile flop. I'll still give this movie a chance since I'm honestly not bothered by the changes from the anime, but I'm expecting it to be pretty crappy. Fox rushed this thing and didn't put together an adequate creative team, and as I've grown all to familiar with, Fox + rushing + bad creative team = bad things. If they were really serious about getting DB right, they should have gotten Stephen Chow to direct instead of giving him whatever frivolous producer title they paid him to take, and given him enough time to actually make the film at a comfortable pace. It could have been Chow's western directorial breakthrough film, but instead it will probably end up just being a side note on Fox's annual operational losses report.
