They shoot the fist fight first, but after seeing how violent it was, they were so keen on having a PG movie they went and reshoot the final scene giving us a punk ass light show.

Expect an unrated version with a longer Chi Chi vs Mai and Goku vs PIccolo

i will admit that he doesnt look bad.
notice the lighting? oozaru in the movie was never near fire if i remember correctly. so it was a lot different.

And yet, when the initial designs for it first showed up, everyone was complaining that it looked bad, etc. Further proof that fans don't always know what they want.

seems like the people in charge of DBE didn't know exactly what they wanted either. first it's just "Dragonball" then they changed it to "Dragonball EVOLUTION" then they had this beast for Oozaru but then they changed him to look more like Oozaru from the anime.

....then they said there was going to be some great fighting in it, then the SFX were going to be some of the best ever seen in a movie, then they turned out a pile of crap.
