Exactly! He was playing great when a heavy 7 footer fell on his leg. The Pierce faked this for show argument holds no merit. I've lost count of how many times Kobe has had the flu or cracked ribs or whatever he has but plays "through"........:whatever: There are just somethings you can't play through and broken or cracked ribs is one. A twisted knee can be played on as long as you don't sit down and get stiff.

Pierce just started getting hot in the third quarter. Faking an injury at that time would have been about the stupidest thing he could have done and anybody claiming he was faking is either mildly ******ed or just trolling for angry responses.

one thing i have to say is that no one has played Boston that good in the 1st game of every round except for us.

Celtics are going to win game 2...I bet Rondo has a huge game

I find it ENORMOUSLY funny.. that all y'all are hating on our team.. and criticizing us fans... and NONE of you look in the mirror... when you're team loses or "gets screwed" its blame this blame that....

its called being fan.. grow up..

BOTTOM line is ONLY TRUE Celtics fans can talk crap.. they earned it they beat us....

the rest of you who are claiming us Lakers fans to be bandwagonners.. need to stop whining like little girls and look at themselves.. cause you're rooting for a team that you didnt root for in the beginning of the season if that's not a BANDWAGON fan then i dont know what is...

everyone but Boston fans step off... when is you're teams NEXT GAME!???

we are still playing.. and to be honest.. i didnt even expect us to get this far this year.. so win or lose this season is ALREADY a success for me.. none of your hating can take that away from me.. and GUESS WHAT.. we will be EVEN better next year... so i can hear all yer little schoolyard talk again next June...

what? I cant hear you???? I'm too busy rooting for my team that's still playing...

for all those that come correct.. you know who you are... much love and apologies if i offended you

to everyone else... SEE YOU NEXT YEAR :cwink:

Lakers have to win game 2. Or there in big big trouble. It won't be fun at all going back home down 2 - 0. I heard something on ESPN saying that the last team that has gone down 2 - 0 in the finals or maybe it was in the playoffs and then came back and won was about 30 years ago or something. I'm sure they we're talking about just the finals though. That's crazy.

None the less, i cheer for both teams although i'd like the Lakers to take this one home! :D

If they drop Game 2, I think it's a larger hole than the usual series because of the 2-3-2 format. Protecting home serve here is a bit trickier than it normally would be. It would be damn hard to beat Boston three straight times, even if the games are at home. Odds are the Celtics get one of those middle three games. Off the top of my head, only 3 teams have ever won all three like that and only one of those did it at home (Miami ). That's putting it at 3-2 BOS, at best, going back to the Whatever The Hell It's Called Now Garden. This is a big game for the Lakers to avoid going into a huge hole.

What?

I personally never understood the whole "bandwagoners"...at some point, isnt everyone a bandwagoner, when they first become a fan??? You dont know if they are a true fan or bandwagoner till after the teams success and they begin to suck...if they a true fan, theyll still watch.

Some NBA analysis say whoever wins game 2 will be the champions. Like you said J it would help a lot if the Lakers win the next game

Bah! It's just Darth being Darth. If the Lakers had won, he wouldn't have said a thing except brag about how good they are. I just hope Boston can hold their homecourt tomorrow cuase this is the biggest game right now of the series especially if PP really is hurt.

Some teams attract bandwagoners....the Lakers, Cowboys, and Yankees seem to attract the most...I live in Connecticut and during the late nineties, Cowboys fans started popping up like rashes all over the place....People like to be associated with a winner

this is exactly what i mean Excel... i get accused of just braggin cause we're good.. when IN FACT we ARE GOOD.. whether we win this FINALS or NOT... we are better than every other team out there.. but for all the stat hounds ..forget one thing.. the most important stat... theres ONLY two teams playing.. the BEST TWO teams of the year... and people wana take us down.. cause we are proud of that... but if their team was here they would be SO excited.. and none of us would fault them.. becuase its the Lakers though.. all of the sudden.. we are smug and arrogant .. NOONE criticisizes their team more than i do.. i have the right just as everyone else... so when im down on my team i get the "hes not a fan he jumped off the bandwagon" when im proud of my i get the "he jumped on the bandwagon".. its sickening.. and childish... and jealousy is really something that doesnt look good on people... sorry Dock..i understand where you come from... but you dont understand me as a fan...its cool.. i aint mad at you..

i can play the crazy old Lakers fan in the house on the hill everyone is afraid of :funny:

as long as the adjective Lakers fan is in there somewhere

Well, the Lakers are good...I think we're better....but Game 1 was the best game 1 I have watched in a while. Both of these teams are so stacked with talen that its just   to watch

He made me sick..

No one has answered the question "Why would Pierce feign an injury in which he was having a good game and his team was leading???

Darth I never accused you of not being a Lakers fan. I think you are probably THE number Laker fan there is. I just think you have been kind of crabby/edgy since the Lakers lost. I haven't called you a bandwagoneer either. Just certain people who pop up at certain times of the year and it's their team now. :whatever: I bleed Knick blue even during the hard time!

Terry Porter is the new coach of the Phoenix Suns.
The Bulls are reportedly talking to Vinny Del Negro.

Way to go, Terry Baldhead!

Although, I'm not sure why Phoenix would be interested in a coach from Detroit's system. Shaq Daddy or no Shaq Daddy, they didn't simply abandon their up-tempo style of play. Besides, it's really the only way to make Nash as effective as he is. :o

I think he just over reacted, he said that he felt something pop, but they didn't need to make a big scene, players lifting him up, needed a wheel chair, that was just stupid(i don't blame pierce). He even said he wished he was lying there for a few minutes, than he would of got up, they just made a big scene, that's all

What made it worse is the stupid media comparing it to Willis Reed. Boston papers were calling him couragious.

It's the finals! Of course the media is going to sensationalise everything they can.
