I watched it. :whatever:

I just didn't enjoy it. :o

Oh God, the pain. :(

I think we might get a good trade or two to talk about on Draft night next week

Lord, I hope so.

The vine of grapes says KG wants to go to Phoenix, which most sources say is near impossible. Haven't heard rumblings of him mentioning anyone else. He put the kibosh on that Boston **** with the quickness. God, the Celtics suck. It's lovely.

Marion's made it known that he would opt out of his contract as soon as possible if he were traded to Minnesota, which means the Suns would have to ship out Amare. They're understandably hesitant to do that, seeing as how he's ONLY 24 YEARS OLD. :wow:

There are rumblings out of Utah that Kirilenko could be moved this offseason. The Mavs were said to be interested a couple of years ago but the Jazz weren't biting but now they say they are open to that idea. I would love to see Kirilenko on the Mavs but the only question is who would Dallas give up. Utah needs help at 2-guard position.

It isn't obvious?

I really hope Marion falls on his ass when he leaves Phoenix (and he will). I'm sick of reading his *****ing about wanting to be a larger part of the offense or be more appreciated. You're a swingman and you get to play with Steve ****ing Nash, you idiot! What could be better than that and playing in Phoneix's system? Goddamn plebian. :whatever:

Jason Terry is also a possibility......

I hope NY can pull off a sign and trade for Rashard Lewis. I think he'd be a big help for us.

Meh. He's not bad, but he's also not Josh Howard.

Mine! :cmad:

I think Kirilenko coming to the Mavs would add some necessary toughness on defense for them. But it still doesn't solve the problems that exist within the current roster.

Dallas needs some toughness in the middle, they need heart, and they need a defensive minded guard that can keep up with the opposition who is either quicker or stronger. As I said, Kirilenko would be a great addition(If it did happen). But it still doesn't solve the Mavs problem.

Jason Terry isn't the problem at all. I think Dampier needs to go and a much more physical, stronger, quicker, and somewhat capable scorer needs to be the center for Dallas. He doesn't need to score 20 or 30 points, but an extra 10-15 pts, rebounder, decent free throw shooter, and great defensive presence would be of huge help.

Trust me if they can do that trade proposal over again, they would!!!

I just saw a couple of days ago on ESPN that the Kidd deal could still go through, but Bus won't give up Bynum. Again what a ******

Chicago damnit! Chicago!!!:cmad:

No worries. I'm just going to declare myself winner.

Done.

Wow. you boys in Miami just like rigging everything.:yay:

Translation - Trade Dirky Jerky for Ak-47.:o

Get rid of Dirk and the Mavs aren't a playoff team. Period. That's like telling Phoenix to get rid of Nash and Amare.

Bottom line? It's an interesting off-season for the Mavericks and I do expect some moves to be made. They cannot keep the same core and expect to win a championship with the weak defense, weak offense, and lack of heart they displayed in the first round against an 8th seed.

I'm a Mavericks fan, but I'm also a realist too. We'll see what happens when the time comes.

It's very weird to see two teams that made it to the finals last year literally get embarassed this year. Miami wins championship and gets swept by the Bulls, Dallas makes it to the championship and might as well have gotten swept by Golden State.

I am sorry, but until proven otherwise. Dirk is the least talented, & most expendable person on that team.

You'd rather build your team around Austin Croshere? Pops Mensah-Bonsu? DJ Mbenga? Maurice Ager?
I know you don't like Dirk, but don't be ridiculous. I mean, he's not my favorite guy either, but he's also the best player on that team and one of the ten best in the league.

I love how you named mediocre players to prove your point.:whatever:

To answer. No, but I would build my team around Jason Terry, & Josh Howard. I think that they are the 2 best players on that team.

No, they're not. Dirk is what makes the offense go and he's what makes that team go. As it's been said you get rid of Dirk and Dallas becomes a mediocre team.

Without him they wouldn't have made it to the championships in 2006, without him they wouldn't have averaged a 60 win season. I'm not denying that he hasn't disappointed and hasn't displayed the heart, leadership, and drive that is necessary to lead a team to a championship.

But to say he's the least talented of the team is both dishonest and stupid.

I hope this is your idea of some kind of sick joke. OK you don't like the guy. Put that aside for a second. Its not him that is asking for the MVP award, its the people who voted for him. I'm sure if he had his choice he wouldn't take it. He is not the prototypical "leadership guy", but when he plays well, the Mavs win, period. But the least talented on the team?? See this is why its tough for me to go along with you on your idea with the Bulls being an "up and coming team." No offense, but it seems either you don't know what you're talking about sometimes or you let emotion get in the way of fact.

Anyone hear that there might be a trade between Marcus Camby for Jermaine O' Neal?

I just saw a couple of days ago on ESPN that the Kidd deal could still go through, but Bus won't give up Bynum. Again what a ******
In the lakers fourm, I've heard the exact opposite! That the nets dont want to pull the trade.

This man is a veteran. If he doesn't show leadership now. He isn't going to. He is supposed to be the leader of that team, because he is supposedly the best on that team, but he has shown that he can't lead.

Therefore he is dragging that team down. Simply because when it is crunch time they turn to him.

It is just my opinion, & as it stands right now. There is plenty of evidence to support it. I could very well be wrong in the future, & for Mavs fans sake. I hope I am.

See. This is the problem I have with this whole arguement. The best player on the team needs to be the "leadership guy". If he isn't then he isn't the best guy on the team.

Once again. Dirk has proven over, & over again. That when it counts he can't step up. So in my humble opinion he can't be the best player on that team.

Well that is quite a conundrum. Trust a bunch of forum kids, or ESPN. HMMM.:o
