I wonder if Pietrus and Gasol got in a French-Spanish exchange there at the end. Gasol seemed to be dropping some non spanish mother****ers in there.
It wasn't as good as Mamba telling Dwight to "**** and play" after their little dustup. Now, that was some funny stuff. It took me 5 minutes to get back to the game after fully enjoying that exchange through the magic of DVR.

What?
You did the same goddamn thing.
Shut the **** up and play.
Just shut up and play ball.

That's quality goodness, right there.

Anyone noticed that Lakers didn't get even one foul call in their favor in the 4th Quarter? Yeah, the refs are fair...

0 ft attempts in the 4th quarter, and maybe 2 in overtime.....that's just ridiculous.

I was just as concerned about the ticky-tacks that were being called on Bynum everytime he so much as looked at a Magic player. WTF was that about?

He probably growled too.

Dwight's face was priceless "I thought we were homies"

Goodbye Orlando. Nice knowing you. Now the world has to endure how Kobe is a God, Phil is a zen master, and more arrogance from smog town. :whatever:

Ahahhaha, this is great. Classic meltdown at its finest. I cant wait till kobe lifts that trophy high in the air. :woot:

Nope not a meltdown. Just stating what is going to happen tomorrow night and if it doesn't happen tomorrow it'll happen in LA. Although I think you'll have a meltdown if Orlando proves the critics wrong and ends up tying the series.

Because the NBA will rig it, not because the Lakers have been a top 3 team for the last two seasons.:whatever:

Did Alston slap Van Gundy in the back of his head  because I can't figure out any other possible reason why Stan had him riding the pine for the fourth plus 5. When the only players on the team who can create their own shot are Turkalo and (on a good day) Lewis you'd think it be a no brainer.

Somewhere, Shaq is grinning his ass off over that 'Mater of Panic' label he hung on Van Gundy a while back. This Alston/Nelson stuff is high-grade bovine excrement.

Shaq's Tell my how my ass tastes part 2 diss song will be released sometime hopefully this summer.

Mamba is going to rap in Italian again. I can't wait.

Shaq to Cleveland rumors circulating again -

The Los Angeles Lakers are on the verge of winning their first championship since parting ways with Shaquille O'Neal. So it's somehow only fitting that their former star player would steal a little bit of the Lakers' thunder.

According to a report on the Arizona Republic Web site, a potential trade that would send O'Neal to Cleveland is heating up again.
The move, which was first discussed in February, would pair O'Neal with LeBron James, giving him perhaps his last, best shot at a fifth NBA championship. In return, the Suns would receive Ben Wallace, who is considering retirement, and reserve guard Sasha Pavlovic.

The two teams would have diametrically opposed reasons for making the deal. The Cavs would be looking for a missing piece to the championship puzzle, while the Suns would simply be trying to shed O'Neal's $20 million salary.

Just one year ago, it would have appeared to be impossible to move O'Neal and that bloated price tag. But O'Neal is coming off a season that saw him earn third-team All-NBA honors. He averaged 17.8 points and 8.4 rebounds, while playing in 75 games, his most in nine seasons. He's also heading into the final year of his deal, meaning the Cavs wouldn't be on the hook for too much if this experiment were to fail.

The Cavs have some urgency to upgrade the talent around James, whose individual brilliance wasn't enough to keep Cleveland from being defeated by Orlando in the Eastern Conference finals. James can become a free agent after the 2009-10 season and has done little to suppress the speculation that he wouldn't mind playing for the New York Knicks.

Is Shaq still worthy of a double team?

If so, they could be a match made in heaven. If they double LeBron, he dishes to Shaq and vice versa.

Cleveland should have made that trade at the deadline, when it first started whirling. I think Sczerbiak and Varejao was on the table. It may or may not have made a difference against Orlando, but the Diesel had a far better chance of pushing the Cavs over the top than Wally or Andy combined ever could. Neither or them (or Sasha and Ben, for that matter) was really integral to what was going on anyway.

They just couldn't resist chiming in with more Knicks 2010 crap, could they? Let's see, one of the top players in the game becomes dissatisfied with his current team's inability to capture a championship, so the logical move is to go a franchise that hasn't been relevant to the title scene since 2000 and has failed to reach .500 in eight straight years. They'd be leaving an extra 30M or so on the table, but it's all good because the coach practices a fun offense (which coincidentally has never proven capable of winning jack ****) and there's a lot of media attention.

Whether or not the current team has the cap space to sign a big time FA or has shown a commitment in bringing in surrounding talent pales in comparison to how brilliant Knicks management has operated in recent memory. It's not like actually winning has anything to do with endorsements or publicity. The key is to simply play in a big market. Bloody hell.

:headspinning:

There will be like 95 more rumors before the draft, and like 106 new ones on draft day.

For some reason, I thought the Sergio deal had actually happened.

^I think that one is actually supposed to happen. Not sure of who'd be involved, though.

Kneel before your new god!
