He retired as a player but in 07 he was the hitting coach for LA, now he's going to be a special assistant to their GM...or some title like that. SO he's still around

A-Rod wants a 10-12 year deal. I think the Dodgers are the perfect team for him at a long term standpoint. The Angels would be if they would be willing to give him that deal. I heard they want to give him 5 years for about 150 mil.

I'm just sayin, A-Rod can get you to the playoffs, but once you're there you gotta bench him cause the man becomes an anchor dragging any team he's with down into the depths and away from a championship.

When he was in the postseason with Seattle(2000) he hit over .400 and had a slugging percentage of .773 . Then they went on to lose to the Yankees in the ALCS. I think it was all about the pressure of playing in New York. Pitching is what wins championships and the Yankees have clearly not had that in 4 years.

Really? I mean, outside of game 1, the Indians didnt overpower the Yankees in the runs category. Game 2 was a 2-1 win over the yanks. Game 4 was a 2 run game. The offense didnt do its part in that series.

Yeah exactly the offense, along with every other batter alongside A-Rod. Its easy to pin it on one guy if he is the only one, but he wasn't.
