This is the best baseball scene in any movie.

Hmmmm.....I thought you'd pick out something from the movie The Natural, or Field of Dreams, or something along those lines.......

Nope. I actually don't like most baseball movies. They're too corny.

I've never seen the "classics" like Field of Dreams, but I remember watching the first two Major League movies and enjoying them when I was younger. Moneyball also has me interested, though I doubt I'll see it until its on cable or something.

I'd love to post a clip from the original Bad News Bears but it's so damn politically incorrect, I'd get banned.

Great movie.

Yeah. Actually I only show up after we beat the Angels. That way I can get maximum satisfaction. Of course I can't remember the last time we weren't in first place so I suppose any time I poke my head in this thread, I'm doing it from a position of superiority.

Especially with you, Kingfish.

:D

:ff: :ff: :ff:
You sure do buddy. Maybe someday we'll sit down and I can tell you what it's like to see your team actually beat the Giants in the World Series.

Anyway, some Baseball movies can be good. The first Major League, 61*, and The Sandlot all spring to mind. The trailer for Moneyball was just...corny.

This movie is awesome. Brings back so many memories to when I was young.

Jered Weaver after his recent meltdown game has been awarded a 5 year 85 million dollar extension

Full no trade clause.

Its a great deal for Weaver and the Angels get to keep their ace.
