pretty much...Im actually going to CitiField when the Cardinals come to town this season

Should be a good series if the Mets can actually keep Santana, Reyes and Beltran healthy this year

Davis should have a big year for the Metsies...Are ticket prices lower now?

haven't looked yet, but maybe, hopefully

they weren't too bad last year

They're not off to a good start then since Santana is out until at least June.

Is there a correlation between players going to big market teams and injuries. Seems to me that everytime one of these really good players goes from a small market team to a big market like New York and Boston, the injury bug just bites them harder. Someone has to keep stats on this, it's baseball for God's sake.

yea...there's that...

I consider this year a wash, after this season they are out from under Beltrans contract, Castillos too I believe

I'll go see the Mets for free and spend money in their stadium.

Beltran, Perez, Reyes, and Castillo.

They should trade Reyes and Beltran if they are still the same old club.

Especially Beltran...Reyes has regressed so much, everytime he turns the corner he has an issue with his legs.

I had a bit of hope for last year, but then that went away

and yes it does, but what can I do....I'm not gonna be some delusional Cubs or Tigers fan, running around screaming "This is our year!!!" just to be disappointed 2 months into the season

Well I'm a Marlins fan, we just hope not to finish dead last in the division, which is a big possibility this season.

They won't get much for a couple months of Beltran. Reyes has much more value to the right team but he's a free agent so the Mets probably couldn't maximize their return.

Cubs fans are banking on 2015 to win the World Series.

Tigers actually have a decent club if they can figure themselves to not fall apart either at the start of the season or end of the season.

Right now, all we are going to hear is about a Red Sox vs. Phillies World Series in 2011.

Why of all fanbases would you lump us in with the Cubs as delusional?

We have a WS appearance as recently as 2006, a playoff appearance in 2009, and we were leading the Division at the AS Break last year before injuries took us out.

beat Atlanta, that is my personal goal for the team every season

Honestly we get really hyped up for any Mets series. That stadium gets packed (well for a Marlins game anyway) with a lot of Mets fans and Marlins "fans" who hate everything New York.

Great day, boys! Pitchers and catchers.

I just dumped 119 bucks into MLBTV for the year. I'm watching the Rangers spank the Yankees in the archives as we speak.

Kaloo kalay! What a day!
