Comics Official (adjectiveless) X-MEN Discussion Thread

We already know why it exists. Its X-Men versus non traditional, marvel universe villains. Quite frankly its a welcome title. We know the cast is large for this arc and will generally get a core cast.

I couldn't agree more! I also want to say I really hope BMB gets a core cast for the Avengers book. That cast is way to large.

Most definatley, this title has more of a point then most of the other x-titles. It's the x-men branching out to the whole Marvel Universe. After this vamp arc the core cast will be reduced to a core cast

I see Gambit still gets his one panel appearance, just to keep us fans stringing along... :p

Yeah, what's he doing? He looks like he is being entertained by the sight of X-23 about to decapitate a vamp.

Is there some law at Marvel that Cyclops and Emma must dominate at least 2-3 panels of every preview????? A whoa, what a Rogue cleavage shot!

“CURSE OF THE MUTANTS,” conclusion!
Somehow, the X-Men have weathered the vampire raid on Utopia, but mutants can't claim total victory yet. Will Dracula's intervention be the final nail in Xarus's coffin…or will he make even more trouble for the X-Men than his upstart son ever could?

Baby, this is one comic book with bite! Four brand new tales of horror await PLUS the first part of NIGHT SCREAMS, from Uncanny X-Men #159, the classic tale of Storm’s struggle with Dracula himself by Claremont and Sienkiewicz!

Ali's new look is like some odd mesh of her current and old costume. I kinda like it like this

It's good to see Husk in action again.

I thought it was Dazzler, too. Then I saw that Dazzler had another story drawn by a different artist. So I ran through the other blondes of the X-Men.

It's a young blond woman who just called Jubilee her friend, and there's something up with her that prevents a vampire from sucking her blood. It had to be Husk with some non-fleshy transformation under her skin.

Yeah. Dazzler looks cool there.

And yay for them not forgetting that Husk is Jubilee's best friend! :D

I don't know why that can't let an artist do a whole book, it'd be great to have Doug do the art alone, besides, his art style suits the vampire story very well.

I think this is how Marvel checks to see how some of their newer artists handle deadlines, as well as extra paychecks for some of their more experienced artists.

I think he and Clay Mann would make an awesome combo on Legacy as they have similar styles

i LOOOOOOOVEEEE Ali's costume like that. =) a good mix of her most current, and the Excalibur costumes. =)

Ahahahahahaha! Great True Blood/Anna Paquin reference there! Nice to see Ali being a bit kick-@ss too! Can't quite figure out who the first blonde is, but Husk sounds about right.

here's art and info on the next arc

Alonso offered up hints as to the future of "X-Men" with the new "Serve & Protect" arc, which sees the team return to New York. "They travel back East to deal with a problem that only Spider-Man can help them solve," he said, noting that just as Blade featured heavily in the first arc, the second will feature Spidey as a way to show how the X-Men are becoming more connected to the Marvel U in the ramp up to a big story coming in a year or so. Chris Bachalo will join series writer Victor Gischler on the arc.

Im glad he's back on an X-men ongoing. I love how we get a first glimpse of the roster for the next arc. Notice how the rotating cast consists of Cyclops, Emma, Wolverine, Storm and random MU character. I was really hoping the former 3 would not appear

Chris Bachalo.

And you were doing do well... :csad:
