Not 4K?

I say that partially in jest, but personally- to get all hardware for a moment- I'm slowly purchasing films in 4K now not just for quality, but because they usually include a Blu-Ray copy anyway, versus your Blu Ray+Digital+DVD.

I have been getting the 4Ks since they started doing them for the Marvel films. I don't have the Cap trilogy on 4K though. I hate the covers they opted to use for the 4K. They don't match my collection. It bugs me! I don't have a 4K player yet, either.

You need a 4K tv for those though right? I have a regular 1080p TV and refuse to upgrade because I absolutely hate how they transform the look of movies into looking like soap operas.

But thats a whole diff conversation for another thread. :D

What about the steelbooks? That's how I ended up getting First Avenger and Winter Soldier in 4K.

Debating on getting them, but I am not in love with the cover on those, either. They are not as nice as the Avengers steelbooks I bought last year.

I'll wait for it to show up on Youtube. I've already seen it 5 times.

I only saw Endgame once (I know, I’m a bad Marvel fan), so I could do with a rewatch. I’ll be there.

Is it known when exactly this new version goes in theaters?

Hopefully they can convince Imax to play it again.

As what happened to "Logan", The end of Avengers: Endgame movie was a message or a preparation says that "There is a death in any future war". It started with "Logan" and it will go on in the future with other movies or series of superheroes we like.

It's your TV settings, not the actual 4K transfer. You can alter the soap opera effect. It's an option on your TV called either "Smooth Motion Effect", "Trumotion" depending on the TV. Look at this website for help.

I haven't upgraded my TV or player to 4K yet but buy all new purchases on 4K and rebuying certain effects heavy films. Just about every 4K release comes with a Blu-ray copy and digital code. It's worth it in my eyes to pay a bit extra. I can enjoy the Blu-ray copy for now (with new releases) and have the 4K ready for when I eventually upgrade.

How to turn off motion smoothing on your high-definition TV

I haven't been able to see Endgame again because of health problems, so I'm thrilled to have another chance. Even if I have to overdose on painkillers and get wheeled into the theater on a gurney, I'm there. :-)
Haha, nice  :D: But I hope you get better.

????

Making the video look like a soap opera has nothing to do with 4K. Motion smoothing options have been on 1080p TVs for years as well. Manufacturers unfortunately often have motion smoothing set to “on” by default. But you can turn that off on any TV.

Cool, good to know. Its been the thing preventing me from getting 4k TV’s and such and sticking with regular 1080p. I may upgrade next year and start getting 4k blu rays like @MovieSlave suggested. I’d love to see Endgame in the highest quality possible.
