Finally started reading Stephanie Brown's run as Batgirl because a friend lent the trades to me and I enjoy torturing myself. Finished the first trade tonight. Good times. I am exponentially sadder that Steph is persona non grata at DC now.

I think batwoman would be far more appropriate than vibe or star girl. But that's just me, I don't read JLA anyways, so I guess I don't really care, ha ha.
Vibe and Stargirl being PR tools for the American Justice League is totally appropriate.

Also, Batwoman would be a much better suited member for the Justice League of America than Catwoman.

Agreed

If Batwoman was on the JLA I would actually have a reason to buy the justice league of America comic book and actually be remotely interested in it

As it is I've got zero interest in bothering with that book whatsoever

Motown Marvel said:
And batwoman would be more suited for the JLA over pretty much almost everyone that is currently in the JLA.

She'd be infinitely more interesting to me than any of the characters currently on the JLA as well

Her series added much fun to the DCU :)

I'm still hoping they will bring her back someday

One of these days I'll have to catch up with that. And Birds of Prey.

Nightwing was good as it has been but I felt like it was more splash pages than one needed.

I was just organizing some comics and Tony Daniel's miserable abortion "Battle for the Cowl" came up. Just then, I realized what the number one advantage of the New 52 reboot is--I never have to find out whatdaniel had planned for the "terrible secret" about Jason Todd.

I'll also assume that Jason trying to murder the batfamily for no reason and being written completely out of character is also retconned away forevermore, for the sake of my own mental health.

In my mind, Bruce's death had the biggest impact on Jason and he had a nervous breakdown, which is the explanation for his behaviour in Battle for the Cowl and Batman & Robin.

I just got caught up with Batwing...man, that's a fun book. Maybe not great, but its the only DC book that I've read that even begins to capture the spirit of of pre-New 52 books like Batgirl and Red Robin.

Batman Inc was great as usual. I think everyone saw the Heritic/Fatherless reveal coming.

I'm thinking we may see the return of [blackout] Kathy Webb [/blackout] working against Leviathan.

Also the B&R annual was pure, heartwarming brilliance. Must Read Damian material.

"Stupid sun. Go down already."

Damian won the week.

Oh and: "Master Bruce. Kindly shut up."

we're starting to get really sick and nervous about what's going to happen to damian in inc.

Even though the rest of his Batman work was mediocre, I think it's rather unfair to blame Daniel for Battle for the Cowl. He was put on as writer at the very last minute and DC editorial severely restricted what was allowed on the book. The book was doomed to suck no matter what.

When in doubt think of sales.

Damian brings in $$$ for DC. B&R I believe sells incredibly well, do I doubt they'll kill their cash cow.

I would read a comic where Damian ends up lost in time

Tim should be too and it can be a superhero buddy movie style story

Damian & Tim's Excellent Adventure

Damian tries to feed him to a dinosaur

Tim nearly gets Damian burned as a witch

Wacky stuff happens :awesome:

I would read that, especially if it was Morrison.

I'd watch it if it meant they could send Tim back to some distant era where he'd be free to cry over Conner as much as he wants.

^ What keeps me from admitting to liking Morrison, much less suggesting him to purists or new Bat-fans looking for a good story to sink into.

Save it for the seasoned fans looking for a bit of off-the-wall freshness. Very niche.

Batman and Robin annual 1 was pure brilliance. Tomasi really nailed (once more) the dynamix between Bruce and Damian. Alfred is awesome as well. A great read.

Did anyone else pick up on the origin of Weasel from 666?
