Official Batman Titles thread 2.0 - - - - - - - Part 16

If it means giving Steph, Cass and Babs a similar dynamic to the sisterhood of batgirls they had going on pre-flashpoint I'm all for it. Steph and Cass need to be as similar to how they were when fans loved them as possible otherwise it won't work.

People are hyped up about this newest issue of Batman, but it didn't really do anything for me. It was promoted as the origin of the bad guy, but it wasn't at all. It just felt like a filler issue and a distraction from the main plot.

Sigh I was afraid of that meaning that basically they are turning Jim's run as batman in to well a waste of time shame I really love the idea.

THE ROBINS FACE THE COURT OF OWLS!

In part 1 of this new epic, it’s Robins vs. cops! Robins vs. Robins! Robins vs. Batman! And Robins vs. the Court of Owls?!

Damian Wayne returns to Gotham City, and he is not happy. There are kids all over the city calling themselves Robin, Bruce Wayne is no longer Batman and the GCPD, led by the new, armored-up Batman, is cracking down on anybody wearing the “R.” And things only get worse when Red Hood, Red Robin and Grayson all come back to Gotham City...

The cover looks cool (although it says that it is not the final one). I am a big fan of the Court of Owls. Once it comes out I will definitely read it.

ioo the court of owls is an amazing idea for a villain and we can't wait 2 see them in a good story eventually TBQH

This week's Grayson (#12) was quite emotional. :waa:
All those quotes...

And Kathy Kane's real identity has finally been revealed.

After reading Grayson I am not just looking at Batman's time line or how long he's been active much like how they're doing in Batman V Superman where Batman, Robin (Dick Grayson) and Babs have been active for years (at least 10 to 15 ) before Superman.

what I like about this issue, is that you could tell it was Azz doing the writing, because there wasn't any long monologues. Instead, it was told in a more subdued manner.

Also, Jock's art was great.

Only two issues in but I am enjoying Gordon as Batman so far. The Damien Year of Blood story is ok so far but not great IMO.

Thanks buddy. I don't know where I would be without you highlighting my errors and revealing to me the folly of my ways. I will try to do better in the future, especially when talking about Damien, I mean Damian.

You're very welcome Pal. I will always be here.

So stoked for Tomasi, but man that art is going to take some getting used to. Not a fan of it at all.

I'll believe it when it happens. It still comes across to me as a more wistful "Oh man, that would have been nice..."
