t:me too...that's the 2nd time bad effects tried to make Tim Roth look faster than he actually is. the first time was in Planet of the Apes when they drug a mat by vehicle while the apes ran across it. while it looked kinda cool, it still looked fake.Man... I hate that scene. It looked totally silly. It was almost like he was flying above the ground.
Wonder how different things would have been had Wolfman scored big?I don't think anyone ever had any doubts that Marvel was going to call the shots in casting Cap, he's one of the linchpins (along with Stark and Fury) that will tie their entire filmverse together. Johnston will have much more say in the supporting roles.

Dorky Fresh just posted this in the manip section and is spot on with what I'd want.......

Don't know if this has been discussed (check back only 2 pages) but I found this bit of the interview for Losers very interesting

^ Translation: "I hated working with Tim Story, and I will never let him direct me again."

I interpret it more like he took a chance because he really liked the script / thought this was a great oportunity. I mean come on, who in their right mind would say no to this job?Comes off as a little hypocritical now that he's signed an even longer agreement to play Cap.

Yeah I watched it a couple days ago. It was superb and Evans sold me. Just him making the quick and selfless decision of Cappa going in the suit to get back to the Icarus II and him going into the freezing water to get the power back on was inspiring. I genuially felt for him and I believed in him. That's what we need for Cap.
In a way I actually liked that this happened, Evans as Cap. It's like this big thing that has been lifted off my shoulders. Now I know, I won't have to see this. I won't have any expectations as I won't see the movie. It's a wonderful feeling. It's like suddenly super-hero movies are not important to me. I know what Marvel will do, that they won't be making the epic Cap movies I wanted to see. So instead of crossing my fingers and hope that they won't screw up, I know they will. Not just because of the casting but because they went ahead and hired a second-rate director in Johnston to direct and they want to include other "international heroes", making it all PC and don't make it too harsh as a WWII movie. So it's not the Captain America I would have wanted to see. And hiring Evans was sort of the spark in my brain that said "uh, right, that's what they're doing". I'm ok with that. What they're going for is not just for me. It won't be the Cap from the comics, but something more "Hollywood" and commercial. Sort of like what they did with the X-Men and Fantastic Four, etc...
I wish them good luck. But it's not my kind of thing.

It's like you reached into my head and pulled out all of my thoughts!Lol, what a drama queen. "Such a weight has been lifted from my shoulders now that the burden of seeing this movie is removed! Now that the crass commercialism of Hollywood no longer has a hold upon me I can finally move on with my life and accomplish something noble and good and important, like continuously returning to the same message board reminding people that Chris Evans sucks blah blah blah blah blah......."

Allow me to explain.
