[FONT=&quot]Game Update 3 is now available for Dishonored 2 on PC, bringing with it a number of bug fixes.
The update fixes bugs with losing in-game audio when alt-tabbing, FPS drops when looking at a gravehound’s smoke, Quick Save/Load being available in Iron Mode, NPCs rediscovering bodies, and more. There’s also a new option to hide the quick select dock and a number of UI optimizations.
Read the full update notes below:

  • Fixed a bug where AMD 400 Series Crossfire enabled GPUs will have lower auto graphics presets than the single card GPU
  • Fixed a bug where the player can get control-locked in the Keybind menu if they use a mouse and gamepad.
  • Fixed a PC bug where the player will lose in-game sound/audio after alt-tabbing too quickly
  • Added option to hide the quick select dock
  • Fixed a bug where Quick Save / Quick Load is available in Iron Mode
  • UI optimization
  • Fixed a bug where the FPS drops when the player looks at a gravehound’s smoke.
  • Fixed a bug where possessing a Gravehound causes their smoke effect to build up.
  • Fixed shadows missing on particles
  • Fixed a bug where normal maps were inverted with negative scaled objects
  • Fixed a bug where using Far Reach on a hanging speaker causes strange physics in subsequent Far Reaches
  • Fixed a bug where aiming Focused Strike or Spyglass at the sky results in poor depth of field masking
  • Fixed a bug where Jindosh still talks to player in lab after death or being rendered unconscious
  • Fixed a bug where the journal may become blurred
  • Fixed a bug in Long Day In Dunwall where screen turns dark a short time after speaking with Meagan
  • Fixed a bug where the player becomes control-locked when attempting to load corrupt mission saves
  • Fixed a bug where overwriting corrupt New Game + save with no free space can cause a crash during or after credits
  • Fixed a bug where Autosave Thumbnails persist after switching Profiles
  • Fixed a bug in “Long Day in Dunwall” where saving as the mission causes the Mission Save to not be created
  • Fixed a bug where canceling a mission selection on the main menu and then starting a New Game + prevents selecting a difficulty setting
  • Fixed a bug where mantling as the elevator hits the ground will cause game to crash
  • Fixed a bug where Doppelgänger doesn’t replenish mana with Corvo
  • Fixed a bug where NPCs will rediscover bodies after a save/load and enter search mode a second time
  • Fixed reported issues with some localization text
  • Fixed a bug where Springrazor traps attached to Rats and Bloodflies will not go off if possessed
  • Fixed a crash when Far Reaching to an NPC while killing them with Shadow Kill
  • Fixed a bug where Rats were unable to consume severed limbs
  • Fixed a crash that could occur during a fight with a rewired Clockwork Soldier
  • Bloodthirst post-process is now brighter
  • Fixed a bug where one-handed thrown objects were misaligned to the right of the crosshair
  • Fixed a bug where the Springrazor won’t trigger when it is put on a bolt
  • Added a « Full » option for the « Mana Replenish » setting
  • Fixed a crash when player falls off of platform inside painting while in possession.
To access this beta update on Steam, follow these simple steps:

  • Log into Steam.
  • Right Click on Dishonored 2 in your Library.
  • Select Properties.
  • Select Betas.
  • A drop down menu will appear. Select BetaPatch.
  • Select OK.
  • Wait a few minutes for game to update.
  • When done, Dishonored 2 [BetaPatch] should appear in our Library.

A new Dishonored 2 trailer announces the arrival of the game’s free trial.
The free trial, first announced earlier this week, is now playable across all applicable platforms. The trial only unlocks the first three missions of the game, but they can be played as either of the two campaign characters and there is no time limit, in case players want to search every inch of the available world.

Bethesda Softworks announced Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, a new Dishonored standalone adventure due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 15, during its E3 2017 press conference.




Here’s a brief overview of the game, via its official website:
Be a badass supernatural assassin and take on the role of notorious Billie Lurk as she reunites with her mentor Daud in order to pull off the greatest assassination ever conceived. Bethesda has released a new trailer for its upcoming standalone entry in the Dishonored series, Death of the Outsider.
The trailer below offers a closer look at the game’s villain, the Outsider, a mysterious being who gave the assassin’s their powers.

Death of the Outsider puts players in the shoes of Billie Lurk who has been asked by her former mentor Daud, star of the original Dishonored‘s DLCs, to take on one last job and kill the Outsider.
“Rightly or wrongly, Billie and her mentor Daud come to the conclusion that the Outsider is responsible for a lot of the chaos in the world,” creative director Harvey Smith said. “And if they remove the Outsider, then the world will be a better, safer place.”
Last week, Bethesda released another trailer for the standalone entry that showed off what Billie is capable of.

So, once someone makes it through
do you actually manage to kill the Outsider, and do they discuss the repercussions if you do? Do your powers suddenly vanish?
 
I know it's late but I found this online for anyone looking to get the Eureka trophy/Achievement with opening Jindosh's door without the code.

It worked for me and I got the trophy last night.

Here is the code for anyone that cares that worked for me, a friend, and does appear to work based on the images on this post as well:

First number is the person. Second is the item. They are given a number by their order of appearance, excepting the first paragraph.

The 5th item is never mentioned, only implied.

So, the first person mentioned, goes with the 3rd item mentioned. 3rd person mentioned goes with the second item mentioned and so on.

Whelp, I got a Plat on the game. That makes it two for two. I'm done until I get around to buying the DLC. $40 is a lot for an expansion pack. :p If it goes on sale sometime for $20 or so then I'll grab it.
