I'm trying to find the trailer song but to no avail. I know Henry Pryce Jackman did specifically for the trailer but I can't find a good quality version anywhere online.

The Cuba scenes are going to totally make up for X3 and Wolverine.

This thread is actually part 3. My thread was taken over by thread manager and now we get another one. PART THREE:cmad: This is the Junior Class.

Im interested in this whole plot.

This kind of plots is what make superheromovies much much better movies.

I hope the script is the most complex and interesting of the whole franchise.

This movie clearly will suck because of the blue-orange poster. :D

Did anybody post this yet? January Jones has been talking about how rushed the production has been, saying that Matthew Vaughn has 3 Days to edit the entire movie.

http://www.slashfilm.com/january-jones-x-men-first-class-rushed/#

Poor (director) Matthew Vaughn is going to have to edit it in three days… That’s been a blast. We’ve all had so much fun making that movie… I think it was unrealistic for them to think they were going to make such a huge movie in whatever we had — two months or something. So of course we went over (schedule). I think I have a couple more days to shoot… We’re almost done. The fact we’ve had to push the wrap date but they haven’t moved the release date is really interesting to me. I guess they must know what they’re doing. I have a lot of faith in Matthew as a director and an editor; I think his movies are great. And I think they’ve been cutting as we’ve been going. We should be fine.

that was a joke, somehow.

January doesnt work on a big studio.

She doesnt know how these movies are made, so she just speaks about what she knows and comparing it with her work on tv, with Mad men, something totally different than big movie productions.

Cutting a movie from hours upon hours upon hours of different takes and angles takes longer than 3 days.

I guess Fox found a way to **** something up.:(

If they've been cutting while shooting, the 3 Days should be a little more forgiving, so long as Vaughn is pulling all-nighters. When you cut and shoot at the same time, it helps you know what pick-ups you need.

I still have faith in Vaughn but once again...Fox pulls out all it stops to try and ruin something.

Vaughn is already editing the movie in-between filming. The three days are just to put the scenes together.

This goes in line with that report that Vaughn was editing the movie while someone else was filming reshoots because he was editing.

Hopefully bosef may be able to shed some light on this.

If the biggest problem Vaughn has been dealing with has been a tight, rushed schedule, he should consider himself lucky. If they haven't been intruding as heavily on the creative element of the film as they did on X3 and X-Origins, then he should be fine.

And sometimes a tight schedule and a creeping deadline get your best work out of you. They make you think quickly and get primal; they force you to work on instinct. And in the end, this will certainly be a huge learning curve for Vaughn as a filmmaker, now that he's worked on more forgiving Indie shoots vs meeting impossible deadlines on a huge-budget studio film. I wish him the best though.

It's also cool if Vaughn is doing a lot of the editing himself. You don't hear that happening on big-budet movies, more often than not. Rodriguez/Coen Brothers style, *****.

"Matthew Vaughn is going to have to edit it in three days"

Does she mean that he'll only have 3 days to get the editing done, or did she mean that Vaughn will begin to put all of his focus on editing 3 days from now?

I believe she was just using figurative language, meaning that he wouldn't have much time to edit it. But not that it would take only three days, exactly.
At least I hope so...

this is nothing new x men 1 came out 4 months after shooting ended as well

x2 came out 6 months after shooting ended

They seem to love rushing things just to make that date so they can compete with the other films instead of maybe pushing the date back a tad.

I'm still going to see the movie with an open mind, but Fox can suck it.
