I'm sick of people suggesting gambit should be played by young gay pretty boys who probably look at themselves in the mirror while they jack off.

Does he have any acting talent at all or one ounce of charisma? Well no but he has long hair and is a model. HOLY *****! well why didn't you say so? He'd be perfect for gambit Gambit doesn't look like a boy, he is a man dammit!

Looks aren't everything anyway. Hugh Jackman wasn't a perfect match for wolverine in terms of looks but he was still great because he knew how to play the character. Same with Micheal Keaton in the batman movies. I'd much prefer someone who looks reasonably good as gambit and can play him very well than someone who just looks the part but has the same emotional depth as a blow up doll.

The greek proposal for Gambit. HEHEHE

There's a new tv show in Greece with a new talented actor that in matters of looks is simply gorgeous.
His name is Apostolis Totsikas, he has appeared in the movie "Brides (aka Nyfes)" by Pantelis Voulgaris as 'Nikolas'. He is young with great potential (only 21). Has a small profile in imdb and other websites.

I think he could play Gambit (not that this is going to happen but he has the looks...) in a dreamy land.
Here is the tv series trailer that he has the male lead role, it is worth to take a look at him (he is gorgeous enough to make me watch this tv series...)

he's only 30 (he'll be 31 in Dec.) if you mean, he looks older, and might not fit in with the yonger generation characters (like rogue), maybe, ya i can see that

it's not about actually age its about what age you can play, different people, look either old or younger then there age, (Aaron (pyro) is 30 now, so he was like 27-28 in TLS, Shawn (iceman) is 27, Anna is 24, but they all played teenagers, yes they were like 18-21ish when the first movie came out, but any new cast should look around they age, now (to fit in), if he's to be part of the younger generation, though, I kinda think he should be alil old then them (i mean the character)

His name is Georges Jeanty and he makes Gambit look absolutely gorgeous. I believe he drew the entire series, the second solo series I mean. Of course, Salvador Larrocca did a beautiful job too and Jim Lee is classic. @Jean Grey, your pick is perfect. He is so dreamy. Can he throw cards?:heart:

Josh Holloway is THE choice for this role. He plays a very Gambit-esque character on "Lost." I agree that this role should not be filled by some talentless pretty boy. The person who plays Gambit will likely be playing a, if not THE key character in the film and will need the acting chops to carry a major motion picture. Holloway has those chops as we've seen on Lost. Given, he is not the lead on Lost per se, but he's got real presence. His rugged look, his attitude, his smirk, hell even his backstory on Lost make me think of Gambit every single time I watch that show. I'ts as if Abrams and Lindelof wrote Gambit into their script. If you agree, spread the word on all of the boards. We've got to get this guy cast, we can!
