Sequels Official Gambit Casting/Speculation Thread [merged-6]

Nah, not that. That's a little...too big for my taste. I'd prefer a simple headband, not that wide...but it's not like I would hate Gambit because of a head accessory so...

i think, maybe just a scene or 2, with him wearing a bandana (or do-rag as the say, these days lol) would be fine
or maybe the movie will be set in winter, and its cold, so, he wears one of these lol :oldrazz:

No way Gambit's cool enough to wear that :oldrazz:

the size could be one or another, but the issue is that have one, at least, to be more or less like the comic Gambit.

I posted this manip I did in the X-Manips thread in X-Men: TLS forum and my choice for Gambit is Rodrigo Santoro. I think he looks the part and given the appropiate accent, he would be a great Gambit.

I wanted to see this manip again. Love it. He looks innocent there, hehe.

I'd love to see something like this in a x-sequel. would be really nice. For the audience can see Logan isn't God, besides Gambit is a good fightter too.
Take a look at Ultimate, he does way better than that on Logan. I'll ty to posst pics.

That's awesome, but a little too much. Unless, they want the Gambit kicks Wolverine's butt scene to be that violent, but then again that might make people who don't know and love Remy to not like him. However, they have got to have Gambit defeat Wolverine in the Danger Room. No way they're not allowed to have that. And then have Rogue fall madly for him, and they have a great romance. Now that's a movie. Might as well do the comic justice.

I want Gambit's hair as long as it was before he became Death and just give him a ninja headband, not that neckguard thingy. I could never figure out what was up with that. Was he trying to keep someone from slitting his throut? No bandit mask please, that would look stupid.:yay:

I didn't mean I want to see that in amovie. But it's awesome, really really awesome.

It is cool. I misunderstood. The last movie was pretty violent for PG-13.

Really wanted those 200 posts huh :oldrazz:

I don't hink such a violent scene will make people not like him, on the contrary they'll think he's bad ass (and he is) And it would be cool to have a Gambit/Wolverine danger room scene. Gambit should be all cocky and making fun of Wolvie. Then Wolvie would challenge him to put or shut up and the 2 would duke it out. Gambit should win the fight like he did in the comics, by tricking Wolverine. And then Rogue would be impressed and such.

Ah know, sugah. Sometimes the computer connection doesn't work and in the process of sending my post to the server I end up having it duplicated. It's so embarrassing. I can't wait to see that scene on film, and then Gambit scoops up Rogue and she just turns to jello.:yay:

If you haven't seen "THE BIG EASY" (1986) Younger Dennis Quaid would totally own this role! His name is the movie was Remy! Talk like Gambit, looks like him, and he's living in New Orleans too. Crap why can't Quaid be a bit younger? Dang it...

wasn't there a tv show based on that movie in the mid 90's. who played Remy in that? I am sure he's alot younger then Quaid, i don't remember it that well, or if the guys still acting, but, just a thought

Yeah, he would have been perfect back then. I think that's where Claremont got his name from. Dennis Quaid was gorgeous in that picture and he's half Cajun, seriously.:heart::heart::heart:

I want my movie Gambit, dangit!

Yes there was. Remy was played by Tony Crane. I loved that show. Too bad they didn't go further with it :csad:

How about NO. He's not an actor and doesn't look like Gambit at all.

still no cajun actors? I searched time ago, but little. And you?

They'd better hurry up and get a new movie together so we can have Gambit. I think Loic Gisselere would be great; he's the guy in the video that was posted in this thread a month ago. Channing Tatum is the only actor spoken of that had any chance of getting the role. He's not ideal, but at this point I'll say okay, he's from Louisiana. They should at least let Loic read. He has the skills, so what if no one's heard of him?:csad:
