That is one ugly bust. I guess that is appropriate. :gg: Yet it kind of reminds me of this:

2 pages I scanned from one of my favorite Spider-Man/Green Goblin stories; A Death in The Family. I love the splash page.

One thing I'll say for Humberto Ramos, he knows how to draw a moody scene.

My gripe with that story was that nothing really changed. (I guess I should get used to that. Every other story is billed as a game changer.) Except maybe for Flash.

They just needed a Goblin story to tie in w/all the novie hype.

Yeah, I remember it came out around when SM1 came out but I was still hoping for a better story. It was definitely just a "cash in on the movie" type thing.

Happens all the time. Ever read "God Loves, Man Kills II"? The gratuitous Blade guest shots in Gambit & the Spidey books? Or the Batman "tie-ins" that came out along with those movies? Ugh. Well, actually the Two_Face one-shot wasn't bad.

Funny that you mention the Two Face story. I still have that book and you're right, its a damn good story. JM DeMatties knows how to get into a characters head.

I think "The Child Within" proved that better than any example you can cite.
