I think minor prosthetics like you get for Star Trek make up (for the chicks) would work, so that it still looks aesthetically pleasing. But no ridges like a Bajoran nose or Klingon forehead, or a Cardassian spoon.

Yeah. I'm definitely saying still aesthetically pleasing just...

Maybe making the yellow War Paint around her eyes something a little more textured. I also want some sort of unnatural contacts in. She definitely has to be pleasing, and hot, but also believably "unhuman." Sometimes I watch sci-fi with girls painted green, and it looks kind of laughable. And I don't want that for Gamora.

I'd also prefer that olive green to the lime green and forest green used in some of her appearances.

They could just CG out her irises. But they always keep the irises in because it makes them more relatable apparently.

Drax and Gamora have serious ties to the antagonist. Rocket is a Raccoon.

Put simply (even though the characters don't line up):

Star-Lord= Luke
Drax= Han
Gamora= Leia
Rocket= The Droids
Groot= Chewbacca

The humanoids will be the main characters, and Rocket and Groot will be there for comic relief.

Even if a big name , expensive actor like Sandler or Carrey is hired to voice Rocket? And a JAG muscle bound actor is tabbed for Drax? Using the "New guy joins the superhero team" format previously seen in X-Men, I see the screen time disbursement as follows:

Drax = Cyclops
Gamora = Jean Gray
Groot = Storm
