Keep in mind that report came from LR, whose credibility has been a little, shall we say, "questionable" lately. (Along with CBM blowing themselves up over Shaileen Woodley....what's up with geeksites giving themselves massive black eyes the past few days?)

But if there's a shred of truth to the report: I think it would be hilarious if Batista gets the nod, even though I wouldn't be opposed to it. It's just that some people in this very thread would have a friggin' heart attack if it happened.

As for Durand: I like him, and if they sneak him in as Warlock or Nova, as Dent suggested, that would be bonus. I'd just hate to see him for Thanos....he just seems too babyfaced and innocent to play *The* Big Bad.


***Edit: incidentally, that report also mentions that "an unknown actor has been found to voice Rocket Raccoon."

He was in that "Main With the Iron Fists" .... also going to be in the new Riddick.

Apparently he's not THAT bad. I don't mind him for Drax at all, it's not like the role requires the actor to have been enrolled in Juilliard.

Man with the Iron Fists was a horribly received bomb.

He's probably just a big tough guy for Riddick to punch in the movie.

I didn't read that, either. But DCMarvelFreshman says that LR is reporting it....his quote over at TheSiteWhichCannotBeNamed: "In addition, Latino Review also reports that an unknown actor has been found to voice Rocket Raccoon."
