indeed.
i also started reading the Protesevich script last night. Boy was it awful. The vampires, from what i pictured them as looking, going by descriptions look like those crazy things from Blade II(when their mouths dont open in 5 places). Just really pale, can see the veins in their faces, and they're practically hairless.
I read the Protesevich script last night. God, was it horrible. Neville has this full body kevlar suit, a ****load of military weapons and other stuff. He has this beefed up range rover, his house is on a hill, surrounded by huge barracks, security cams, and other crap as well.
They say straight out in a note to readers that even though these "creatures" share the characteristics of vampires, they arent. "they're real" They're called Hemocytes.
The hemocytes are like an uncivilzed tribe of warriors...something you'd see in a Conan story. They play crazy tribal music, divided up into a heirarchy, have tribal brands on them. They can all make their muscles thicker, into some sort of armor. Cortman had some really crappy dialogue, he can control his nail growth into talons. They can control blood to make it come to them(if a pool of blood is on the ground, they can command it to them and absorb it through the skin).
I couldnt finish reading it. it's stupid. THEY CHANGED THE ENDING! I Am Legend isn't an action novel, and it shouldnt be an action film.
