can someone tell me why the hell they had to use 3rd rate computer animation on the creatures when people in makeup would have looked so much better.
The ****ty CG really ruined the movie for me.
Your mindset never wanders from poop, does it?
A planet where calling something that bites necks, drinks blood and has adverse reactions to UV light a vampire is a suitable description. What planet are you from?
What the hell was up with the Batman/ Superman poster. I know there is not a movie coming out. Was it for a cartoon? Or was it an earlier poster from when the movie was supposedly happening?
what was the book ending?
Was I the only one channeling Alfred Pennyworth when...
Neville was strung up...I was thinking to myself "Whats the good of all those pull-ups if you cant lift your bloody body [to cut the rope]?"
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. I guess all the blood had rushed to his head and he couldn't get his strength?

That is a scene from the ending, and ya, it does look like this is maybe an alternative ending, maybe the book endingoh yeah...that was in the trailer. I have a feeling they shot two endings...cause that looks like a scene from the ending...
i hope that wasnt the case! its a lame excuse
even for an adaptation I thought it was weak. The film was solid. Will Smith gave one of his best performances, and it was one of the best performances of the year. The film made it so I was right there with Neville, and it had me, emotionally. I only had two complaints. The film needed to be over 2 hours, so things could've been fleshed out and more could have been added. If it was longer than 2 hours, the film would have been great. The other complaint was the crappy CGI for the Dark Seekers, though I sorta understand why they were a bit crappy. The CGI used to make NYC look empty and tarnished was incredible (Times Square was not abandoned for this film; that will never happen). I also wished the Dark Seekers were more like creepy/horrific monsters, rather than something out of a video game. The ending didn't bother me because this was an ADAPTATION of a book.
Rating:
3/4 stars

Warhammer try to use spolier tags next time incase someone who hasnet seen the movie comes in and sees it ok? Its both considerate and only takes 2 seconds of your time![]()
I've noticed everyone who dislikes the film, dislikes it because it ventures off from the book.
That's odd, seeing how we knew for a while now that the film was going to be different.
I liked the filmed for its differences. It's a different spin on a classic story. If you go in expecting Matheson's story, you're only going come out angry and disappointed.
Just some random babbling...
